Abstract
Firmaların amaçlarına baktığımızda genel olarak hedeflerine ulaşmak, bulundukları sektörde varlıklarını sürdürmek, karlılıklarını arttırmak ve sürekli gelişim göstermektir. Günümüzde artık firmaların amacı, firmanın piyasa değerinin maksimum kılınması olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Firma değerini maksimum kılmak temel başarı ölçüsüdür ve bunu sağlayan firmalar başarılı olarak değerlendirilir. Bu bakımdan global ekonomilerin ve sermayenin çok daha hareketli olduğu günümüz dünyasında, ekonomilerde gelişmeyle birlikte firma değerlemesinin önemi artmaktadır. Firmaların varlığı ve yarattıkları değerler, ekonomik hayatın oluşumu ve gelişiminde en önemli rolü oynayan etkenlerdir. Kamu veya özel sektörde faaliyet gösteren firmaların gerçek değerlerinin doğru olarak belirlenmesi bir anlamda ekonominin gidişatı için de bir gösterge sayılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, değer tanımları, değerleme süreci ve firma ya da hisse senedi değerleme yaklaşım ve yöntemlerini incelemek ve bu yaklaşım ve yöntemlerin karşılaştırarak avantaj ve dezavantajlarını, şirket değerini gerçeğe en yakın bir şekilde bulan değerleme yaklaşım ve yöntemlerini tespit etmek amaçlanmıştır.
When we have a look at the aims of the firm, generally; it is to reach their aims, to survive in their sector, to raise their stability and to grow constantly. Nowadays the aims of the firms turn out to be to maximize the firm value. To maximize the firm value is the main criteria of success. And the firms who achieve this are considered to be successful. Thus, with the economical development, the importance of the firm valuation is becoming more important in our current world, in which the global economy and capital are a lot active . The existence of the firms and the values they create are the most important factors in the formation and development of the financial life. The determination of the intrinsic value of the firms being active in public and private sector is considered to be an indicator for the progress of the economy. In this work, it’s aimed to determine the valuation process and the approaches and the techniques of the firm or stock valuation. And also by comparing these approaches and techniques, it’s aimed to determine the advantages and disadvantages, and to designate the best valuation technique that finds the most intrinsic value.
