Hemşirelerde Covid-19 korkusu ve iş doyumu

Abstract

Tezin başlığı: Hemşirelerde Covid-19 Korkusu ve İş Doyumu Öğrencinin Adı, Soyadı: Merve Korkmaz Danışmanın Adı, Soyadı: Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Semanur Kumral Özçelik Programın Adı: Hemşirelik Amaç: Araştırma, hemşirelerde Covid-19 korkusunu, iş doyumunu ve aralarındaki ilişkiyi belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı ve ilişki arayıcı nitelikteki araştırma Samsun İlinde bir devlet hastanesinde çalışmakta olan 178 hemşire ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veriler Bilgi Formu, Kovid-19 Korkusu Ölçeği ve Hemşire İş Doyum Ölçeği ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde tanımlayıcı istatistikler, Student’s t test, One-way ANOVA test, Mann Whitney-U test, Kruskal Wallis-H test ve Pearson Korelasyon Analizi kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Hemşirelerin yaş ortalaması 36,61±7,66 yıl olup, %77,5’i kadın, %70,8’i lisans mezunu ve %63,5’i 11 yıl ve üstü mesleki deneyime sahiptir. Hemşireler iş doyumlarını artırdığını düşündükleri faktörleri en çok yeterli ücret (%81,5) olarak ifade etmişlerdir. Hemşireler Covid-19 nedeniyle yaşadıkları korkuları en çok; hastalığı aile/ sosyal çevre/ iş arkadaşlarına bulaştırma (%76,4), olarak belirtirken, Covid-19 nedeniyle yaşadıkları zorlukları iş yükünün artması (%74,2), personel yetersizliği (%66,3), yetersiz ücret (%65,7) olarak belirtmişlerdir. Hemşirelerin Kovid-19 Korkusu Ölçeği ve Hemşire İş Doyum Ölçeği puan ortalamaları sırasıyla 19,15±7,19, 3,39±,65 olarak bulunmuştur. Hemşirelerde Covid-19 Korkusu ile iş doyumu arasında anlamlı bir ilişki saptanmamıştır (p>0,05). Sonuç: Araştırma sonucunda, hemşirelerin Kovid-19 korkularının ve iş doyumlarının orta düzeyde olduğu görülmüştür. Hemşireler, Covid-19 pandemi sürecinde birçok zorluk ve korku yaşadıklarını ve yeterli ücretin iş doyumlarını en çok artıran faktör olduğunu ifade etmişlerdir. Title of Thesis: Fear of Covid-19 and Job Satisfaction in Nurses Student Name, Surname: Merve Korkmaz Supervisor Name: Assistant Professor Semanur Kumral Özçelik Program Name: Nursing Objective: The research was carried out to determine the fear of Covid-19, job satisfaction and the relationship between them in nurses. Methods: The descriptive and correlational research was carried out with 178 nurses working in a public hospital in Samsun. Data were collected with Information Form, Fear of Covid-19 Scale and Nurse Job Satisfaction Scale. Descriptive statistics, Student’s t-test, one-way ANOVA test, Mann Whitney-U test, Kruskal Wallis-H test and Pearson Correlation Analysis were used to evaluate the data. Results: Nurses’ mean age was 36.61±7.66 years, 77.5% were women, 70.8% had bachelor’s degree and 63.5% had professional experience of 11 years or more. The nurses expressed the factors that they think increase their job satisfaction as the most adequate wage (81.5%). Nurses are most afraid of the fears they experience due to Covid-19; while they stated the disease as infecting their family/ social environment/ colleagues (76.4%), they stated the difficulties they experienced due to Covid-19 as the increase in their workload (74.2%), insufficient staff (66.3%) and insufficient wages (65.7%). Their mean scores from the Fear of Covid-19 Scale and the Nurse Job Satisfaction Scale were found to be 19.15±7.19 and 3.39±.65 respectively. There was no significant relationship between fear of Covid-19 and job satisfaction in nurses (p>0.05). Conclusion: The study demonstrated that nurses had moderate levels of Covid-19 fear and job satisfaction. Nurses stated that they experienced many difficulties and fears during the Covid-19 pandemic process and that adequate wages were the factor that increased their job satisfaction the most.
