Abstract
BİLGİ TEKNOLOJİLERİ TALEP YÖNETİM SİSTEMİ’NDE ÖNCELİKLENDİRMENİN ROLÜ Bilgi Teknolojileri Talep Yönetimi, Bilgi Teknolojileri ile iş birimleri arasındaki ilişkiyi yöneten günümüzün lider uygulamalarındandır. Bu ilişkiyi yönetirken bir yandan da kısıtlı yatırım ve insan kaynağının kurum faydasına aloke olmasını sağlayan bir süreçtir. Bu çalışma, Bilgi Teknolojileri ile iş birimleri arasındaki ilişkiyi yöneten günümüzün lider uygulamalarından BT talep yönetim sisteminin verimliliği üzerinedir. İşin önceliklendirmesini başarabilmek, BT firmaları için uzun yıllardır süregelen kritik bir konudur. Talebi yönetmekse tek başına iş birimlerinin ihtiyaçlarını karşılamayı değil, BT firmalarının iş birimlerinin ihtiyaç ve stratejilerini doğru anlamasını sağlayan bir dizi yetkinlik ve süreçlerin uygulanmasını gerektirir. BU ÇALIŞMA İLE YAPILAN ARAŞTIRMALARA GÖRE TALEP SİSTEMİNDE İŞ BİRİMİYLE ORTAK HEDEFLER ÇERÇEVESİNDE BELİRLENMİŞ ÖNCELİKLENDİRME KURALLARININ, TALEP YÖNETİMİ SİSTEMİNİN PERFORMANS VE VERİMLİLİK METRİKLERİ ÜZERİNDE ETKİLİ ROLÜ OLDUĞU SONUCUNA VARILMIŞTIR.
THE ROLE of PRIORITIZATION in INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEMAND MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IT demand management is today's leading-edge practice for managing the relationship between IT and the business. It is a process of allocating limited capital and human resources to the overall benefit of the enterprise while improving the relationships among IT and its business partners. This thesis focuses on the effectiveness of IT demand management system which is today's leading-edge practice for managing the relationship between IT and the business. Achieving IT-business alignment and request prioritization has been a long standing critical issue for IT organizations. It is a process of allocating limited capital and human resources to the overall benefit of the enterprise while improving the relationships among IT and its business partners. The research of the study showed that prioritization rules of the system, in the framework of clearly defined goals between IT and business has a key role on the performance and effectiveness metrics of the demand management system.
