Abstract
Osmaniye şehri, Akdeniz Bölgesinin Adana Bölümünde aynı adla anılan il idari ünitesinde, merkez ilçenin sınırları içinde, Karaçay ve kollarının oluşturduğu birikinti yelpazesinin üzerinde yer almaktadır. İnceleme sahası, Osmaniye Belediyesi sınırlarını kapsamaktadır. Mahalli 36 idari birime ayrılan Belediye yönetim alanı yaklaşık 8500 ha genişliğe sahiptir. Şehirde 2022 yılı itibariyle 252.186 nüfus ikamet etmektedir.

The study area covers the borders of Osmaniye Municipality. The municipality management area, which is divided into 36 local administrative units, has a width of approximately 8500 ha.
