Publication: METİN MADENCİLİĞİ YAKLAŞIMIYLA İŞVERENLERİN NİTELİKTALEPLERİNİN İNCELENMESİ
Abstract
Amaç: Firmalar pek çok kaynaktan personel talebini karşılayabilmekle birlikte günümüzde aranan işpozisyonlarında uygun adayların bulunmasında internet ve iş ilanı siteleri önemli bir araç haline gelmiştir. İşarayan açısından da internete üzerinden yapılan başvuruların kolaylıkla yapılması ve sürecin daha hızlı olması işilanı sitelerinin kullanımı yaygın hale gelmiştir. İş arayan ile iş imkanı sunan tarafı bir araya getiren iş ilanısitelerinde yer alan iş ilanlarının incelenmesi pek çok çalışmaya konu olmuştur. Çalışmada Ekonometrimezunlarının güncel istihdam olanakları ve Ekonometri mezunlarını istihdam etmek isteyen firmalarıngereksinimlerinin ortaya konulması amaçlanmıştır.Yöntem: Belirlenen amaç doğrultusunda iş arayan ile iş imkanı sunan tarafı bir araya getiren iş ilanı sitesinde yeralan iş ilanları öncelikle içerik analizi ile incelenmiştir. Verilen iş ilanlarındaki gerekli duyulan beceri veözelliklerin ortaya çıkarılması amacıyla da bir metin madenciliği yaklaşımı kullanmıştır.Bulgular: İlanlar sektör, pozisyon gibi belirlenen başlıklar bazında ayrıntılı olarak incelenmiş ve aynı zamandayabancı dil, bilgisayar programları, kişilik özellikleri ve diğer nitelikler yönünden işveren beklentileri ortayakonulmuştur. Yapılan incelemeler sonucunda bankacılık, enerji, otomotiv sektörlerinin en fazla istihdam olanağısağlayan sektör olduğu görülmüştür.Özgünlük: Belirtilen yöntemleri kullanarak, Türkiye’de Ekonometri bölümünden mezun olacak kişilerin güncelistihdam olanaklarını ve kişilerde aranan nitelikleri belirlemeye yönelik yapılmış çalışmaya rastlanmamıştır.Çalışmanın diğer çalışmalardan farkı, analizler sonucunda öne çıkan sektörler bazında da ilanlarda arananniteliklerin ayrıntılı olarak incelenmesidir. Aynı zamanda en çok görüntülenen ve en fazla başvuru yapılanilanlarda bir alt başlık olarak ayrıca analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulguların, bu bölümle ilgili öğrencilerin kariyerplanlamasına ışık tutması hedeflenmektedir.
Purpose: Although companies can meet the demand of personnel from many sources, internet and job posting sites have become an important tool in finding suitable candidates in the job positions sought today. In terms of jobseekers, it is common to use job posting websites to make online applications easily and to have a faster process. The study of job postings on job posting sites, which brings together the job seeker and the party offering job opportunities, has been the subject of many studies. Method:In this study, it is aimed to reveal the current employment opportunities of Econometrics graduates and the needs of companies that want to employ Econometrics graduates. For this purpose, job advertisements on the job posting site were primarily analyzed by content analysis. It also used a text mining approach to reveal the skills and features required in the job advertisements. Findings:Advertisements were examined in detail on the basis of titles determined such as sector, position, and at the same time, employer expectations were revealed in terms of foreign language, computer programs, personality traits and other qualifications. As a result of the examinations made, it was observed that banking, energy and automotive sectors are the sectors that provide the most employment opportunities. Originality: The difference of the study from other studies is that the qualifications sought in the job advertisements are examined in detail on the basis of sectors that stand out as a result of the analysis. The findings are aimed to shed light on the career planning of the students studying in this department.
