Publication: Genç futbolcularda fonksiyonel antrenmanın atletik performansa etkisinin değerlendirilmesi
Abstract
ABSTRACTPurpose: The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of functional training program on the athletic performance and functional mobility of football players.Material and method: 39 young football players (age: 16. 86, height: 173.53, body weight: 66.88) who played football in İstanbul Kayaşehir Sports Club and who had a Functional Movement Screen (FMS) Scroe of 16. were included in this study. Soccer players are divided into three groups homogeneously. All groups participated in football practice 8 weeks and 5 days a week. The functional training group implemented the FAG football training and functional training model while the traditional training group practiced football training and the traditional training model. Before and after this research, long jump, speed, agility, balance and FHD tests have been applied. Results: According to the data, while there was no difference between the performance measurements of KG and GAG and FAG in the beginning of the season (p>0.05), there was a difference in the end-of-season measurements (p<0.01). Among the repeated measurements, there was an increase in the balance and FHD performances in the CG (p<0.05) and no difference was found in the other parameters (p>0.05). In the TTG, there was a decrease in balance, agility and FHD performances (p<0.05), and increased long jump performance (p<0.05), but no difference was observed in other parameters (p>0.05). A statistically significant improvement was observed in all parameters in FTG (p≤0.001).Conclusion: As a result, functional training model, according to the traditional training model; It can be said that it is a more effective training model in improving athletic performance and increasing FHD scores.
