İşletmelerin COVID-19 döneminde sürdürülebilirlik performanslarının bulanık mantık yöntemi ile incelenmesi

Abstract

İşletmelerin sürdürülebilirlik faaliyetlerine verdiği önem rakip işletmeler, işverenler, çalışanlar, devlet, sivil toplum kuruluşları gibi bilgi kullanıcılarının kararlarını önemli derecede etkilemektedir. 1987 yılında Brundtland Raporunun yayınlanması ile birlikte uluslararası arenada kabul gören sürdürülebilirlik kavramı günümüzde işletmeler tarafından uygulanmaya başlanmış ve birçok faydaları görülmüştür. Sürdürülebilirliğin beraberinde getirdiği faydaların beklenmedik durumlarda bile devam edilmesini sağlamak işletmelerde yer alan sermaye, çalışanlar, stratejiler, ürün maliyeti, satışlar, ücret politikaları, çevreye duyulan saygı ve adalet gibi önemli kriterlere bağlıdır. Bu kriterlerin olumlu yönde ilerlemesinden sürdürülebilirliğin de olumlu seyir halinde olduğu çıkarımı yapılabilir. Çalışmanın amacı; demir - çelik sektöründe faaliyet gösteren işletmelerin Covid-19 döneminde sürdürülebilirlik performanslarının analiz edilerek pandemi döneminde işletme faaliyetleri yönünün belirlenebilmesidir. Bu amaçla yapay zeka teknikleri arasında yer alan bulanık mantık yöntemi çıkarım sistemleri arasında Mamdani çıkarım sistemi uygulanarak işletmelerin pandemiden etkilenip/ etkilenmedikleri sonucuna ulaşılmaya çalışılmıştır.

The importance that enterprises give to sustainability activities significantly affects the decisions of information users such as competitors, employers, employees, state and non - governmental organizations. With the publication of the Brundland report in 1987, the concept of sustainability accepted in the international arena started to be implemented by enterprises and many benefits have been seen. Ensuring that the benefits of sustainability bring about even in unexpected situations depend on important criteria such as capital, employees, strategies, product costs, sales, wage policies, respect and justice in the environment. From the positive progress of these criteria in the direction, it can be concluded that sustainability is also positive. The aim of the study is; is to analyze the sustainability performance of the enterprises operating in the iron and steel sector during the Covid-19 period and to determine the direction of their business activities during the pandemic period. For this purpose, the Mamdani inference system was applied among the fuzzy logic method inference systems among the artificial intelligence techniques and it was tried to reach the conclusion whether the enterprises were affected by the pandemic or not.
