Abstract

TÜRK AİLESİNİN DÖNÜŞÜMÜ VE DİN ÖZET Bu çalışma genel olarak Türk ailesinde meydana gelen değişimler ve dinin bu değişim üzerindeki rolünü konu edinmektedir. Çalışma teorik ve uygulamalı olmak üzere iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Teorik bölümde Türk ailesinin İslamiyet öncesi dönemden başlayarak günümüze kadar geçirmiş olduğu evrimsel süreç incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu bölümde yine, son 25 yılda aile ile ilgili verilerde meydana gelen oransal değişiklikler Türkiye İstatistik Kurumunun verilerine dayanılarak incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Uygulamalı bölümde, son 25 yılda aile örüntülerinde meydana gelen değişimleri tespit etmek üzere İstanbul’da 2797 aile üzerinde uygulanan araştırma sonuçlarına yer verilmiştir. Bu bölümde aynı zamanda, örneklem olarak seçilen ailelerdeki dinî tutum ve davranışlarda meydana gelen değişimlere de yer verilmiştir. Uygulamalı araştırmada ailede meydana gelen değişimlerin yanında, ailedeki sürekliliklere de değinilmiştir. Gelir düzeyi, eğitim düzeyi ve kentlilik düzeyindeki farklılaşmaların değişim üzerindeki etkisi çapraz ilişki tablolarında gösterilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçları araştırmanın evreni ile sınırlı olmakla birlikte Türk ailesinin geneli hakkında fikir verebilecek derinliktedir. THE TRANSFORMATION OF TURKISH FAMILIY AND RELIGION

This study examines mainly the changes in Turkish family patterns and the effects of religion on the change. The study consists of two chapters: Theoretical and empirical. In the first chapter, it is dealt with the evolution of Turkish family beginning from the pre-Islamic time to the present-day. In this chapter, it is also analyzed the changing ratios in the indicators related with family over the last twenty-five years according to the data of the Turkish Statistical Institute. In the second chapter, it has been laid out the outcomes of an empirical research on 2797 family in Istanbul about the changes in family patterns over the last twenty-five years. In this chapter, it is also analyzed the changes in religious habits and attitudes in the sample families. The empirical part deals with the changes as well as perennials. In the cross tables, it is shown the effects of Income, education and urbanization levels on the change. Although, the consequences of this research are limited with its universe, it gives hints about the characteristics of all of Turkish family.
