Publication: Beden eğitimi öğretmenlerinin bilgi ve iletişim teknolojileri kullanım düzeylerinin yaratıcı kişilik özelliklerine etkisi
Abstract
Objective: The aim of this study is to examine the effect of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) usage levels of Physical Education Teachers working in Istanbul Esenyurt district on their creative personalities. It is aimed to examine their attitudes towards ICT and their creative personality traits in terms of various variables and to determine whether there are significant differences between them. Material and Methods: The sample of this research, in which the descriptive survey model will be used, is Physical Education Teachers working in Istanbul Esenyurt district. Personal Information Form created by the researcher to collect data in the research, Information and Communication Technologies Attitude Scale developed by Günbatar (2014) and the “Creative Personality Traits Scale” developed by Şahin and Danışman (2017) was used. SPSS 26 package program, One Way ANOVA test and the Tukey test was used to determine the difference between the groups, and the significance was taken as p<0.05 by using the t-test for independent groups. In addition, regression analysis was conducted to examine the effect of physical education teachers' information and communication technologies usage levels on their creative personalities. Results and Conclusion: In our study, a statistical difference was found in favor of male physical education teachers according to the gender variable in the information and communication technologies (ICT) scale, but no significant difference was found between creative personality traits (YQL). A low-level and positive statistically significant relationship was determined between the knowledge and communication levels of physical education teachers participating in the study on their creative personality traits. It has been determined that as physical education teachers' attitudes towards information and communication technologies increase, their creative personality traits also increase.
