Türkiye-Avrupa Birliği ilişkilerinde kadın hakları ögesi

Abstract

Türkiye-Avrupa Birliği ilişkilerinde kadın hakları ögesi Kadın hakları ögesi, Türkiye-AB ilişkileri açısından dikkate değer bir husustur. Taraflar arasındaki ilişkileri bu perspektiften ele almak için konunun tarihsel derinliğini sunmak gerekmektedir. Bu bağlamda, Osmanlı Devleti’nin son evrelerine denk gelen ve 1839’da başlayan Tanzimat Dönemi’nden günümüze kadar ilerleyen geniş kapsamlı bir inceleme sunularak kadın haklarının söz konusu ilişkilere nasıl yansıdığını ortaya koymak bu tez çalışmasının esas amacıdır. Bu hususta benzer çalışmalara rastlanmakla birlikte hem Tarih biliminin hem de Uluslararası İlişkiler disiplininin sahasına giren bir konuyu bu iki farklı dal üzerinden sunmak hedeflenmektedir. Çalışmayı özgün kılan husus budur. Bu tezin literatüre dâhil edilmesi sonucunda, Türkiye-AB münasebetlerine kadın hakları üzerinden farklı bir bakış açısı kazandırılacaktır.

The element of women’s rights is a noteworthy issue in terms of Türkiye-EU relations. In order to address the relations between the parties from this perspective, it is necessary to present the historical depth of the subject. In this context, the main motivation of this thesis is to present a comprehensive analysis starting from the Tanzimat Period, which coincides with the last stages of the Ottoman Empire and began in 1839, and continuing until today, and to reveal how women’s rights are reflected in these relations. Although similar studies can be found on this subject, the aim is to present a subject that falls within the scope of both history and international relations disciplines through these two different branches. This is what makes the study original. As a result of the inclusion of this thesis in the literature, a different perspective will be gained on Türkiye-EU relations through women’s rights.
