Abstract

Endüstriyel gıda tasarımı alanında endüstri ürünleri tasarımcısının yeri ve önemi Bu tez çalışmasında, endüstriyel gıda tasarımı alanında endüstri ürünleri tasarımcılarının yeri ve önemi araştırılmıştır. Gıda sektöründe kullanıcı deneyimi, estetik ve sürdürülebilirlik gibi unsurların ön plana çıkmasıyla birlikte, endüstri ürünleri tasarımcılarının katkıları da giderek artmaktadır. Bu tez çalışmasında, sektördeki mevcut durumu tespit etmek ve gelecekteki potansiyel gelişmeleri analiz etmek amacıyla bir dizi anket ve görüşme yapılmıştır. Nitel değerlendirme kapsamında, hem firma bünyesinde çalışan hem de serbest çalışan endüstri ürünleri tasarımcılarıyla gerçekleştirilen açık uçlu soru anketinden elde edilen sonuçlar, kapsamlı bir literatür taramasıyla ortaya konan güncel teorilerle karşılaştırılarak analiz edilmiştir. Bu süreçte, katılımcıların geri bildirimleri ve deneyimleri, sektördeki mevcut durumu ve eğilimleri daha iyi anlamak amacıyla detaylı bir şekilde incelenmiş; elde edilen bulgular, endüstriyel gıda tasarımında tasarımcıların üstlendiği rolün farklı boyutlarını ortaya koyacak biçimde yapılandırılmıştır. Bulgular, endüstriyel gıda tasarımında endüstriyel ürün tasarımcılarının rolünün yalnızca ürün estetiği ile sınırlı kalmadığını, aynı zamanda kullanıcı deneyimini iyileştirme, ergonomiyi artırma ve sürdürülebilirliği sağlama gibi işlevlere de sahip olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır. Araştırma sonuçlarına dayalı olarak sektördeki aktörlere yönelik öneriler geliştirilmiştir.

The place and importance of industrial product designers in industrial food design This thesis explores the role and significance of industrial product designers in the field of industrial food design. With the increasing emphasis on user experience, aesthetics, and sustainability in the food sector, the contributions of industrial product designers have become more prominent. This study aims to identify the current state of the sector and analyze potential future developments through a series of surveys and interviews. As part of the qualitative assessment, the results of an open-ended questionnaire survey conducted with both in-house and freelance industrial product designers were compared and analyzed with current theories established through a comprehensive literature review. During this process, participants' feedback and experiences were examined in detail to better understand the current state and trends in the industry. The findings were structured to reveal the various dimensions of the role of designers in industrial food design. The findings indicate that the role of designers in industrial food design extends beyond mere product aesthetics, encompassing functions such as enhancing user experience, improving ergonomics, and ensuring sustainability. Based on the research findings, recommendations for industry stakeholders have been developed.
