Müteahhirûn dönemi tefsir yazıcılığı : Nizâmeddin En-Nîsâbûrî'nin Garâibü'l-Kur'ân ve Regâibü'l-Furkân'ı üzerine bir değerlendirme

Abstract

Nizâmeddin en-Nîsâbûrî, Müteahhirûn Dönemi’nde yaşamış çok yönlü bir ilim adamıdır. Bu yeni dönemde tümel disiplinlerin arasındaki yakınlaşma tefsirde muhteva dönüşümüne yol açmıştır. En azından metafizik düşünceyle ilgilenen müfessirlerin eserlerinde bu olgu açık biçimde gözlemlenebilir. Bu çalışma, İslâm ilimler geleneğinin ikinci klasiklerinin yazıldığı döneme tekabül eden süreçte tefsir yazıcılığının değişen özelliklerini Nîsâbûrî’nin Garâibü’l-Kur’ân’ı özelinde incelemektedir. Söz konusu tefsir, dönemin önde gelen iki tefsiri kabul edilen Zemahşerî’nin el-Keşşâf’ı ve Fahreddin er-Râzî’nin Mefâtîhü’l-gayb’ı merkeze alınarak yazılmıştır ve dönem ilmiyesinin entelektüel ilgilerini yansıtacak zenginlikte bir muhtevaya sahiptir. Araştırmanın amacı tefsirde mesail dönüşümünün izini Nîsâbûrî’nin katkılarını da izleyerek tespit etmektir. Bir giriş ve üç bölüm olarak planlanan araştırmanın birinci bölümü müfessirin Kur’ân ve tefsir tasavvurunu, ikinci bölümü dilbilim ve rivayet malzemesini kullanımı örnekliğinde tefsir uygulamalarını ve üçüncü bölümü müfessirin Allah, âlem ve insan tasavvurlarını da dikkate alarak felsefi ve tasavvufi ahlâk teorilerini tefsire taşımasını konu edindi. Tefsirde mesele dönüşümünün izini sürebilmek ve müfessirin konuya katkısını ortaya koyabilmek için mukayeseli okumalara ihtiyaç vardı. Araştırmada tefsirin temel kaynakları ve tefsir literatürünün yanı sıra farklı disiplinlere ait eserler de sıkça kullanıldı. Özellikle de yeni dönemin karakteristik yönlerini yansıtma potansiyeli daha yüksek konularda. Elde edilen bulgulara göre müfessir dönemin hâkim düşünce yöntemi olan tahkik tavrını yansıtacak şekilde kaynaklarındaki bilgileri teyit etmiş, ifadeleri daha anlaşılır kılmaya gayret göstermiş, yer yer kaynaklarında olmayan bilgileri eklemiş ve bazen de kaynak metinlerdeki aktarımların mantıki tutarlılığını sorgulamıştır. Nîsâbûrî insanın yetkinliği meselesinde tümel disiplinlerin kavram ve teorilerini yoğun şekilde kullanmıştır. Onun düşüncesinde metafizik tasavvuf, İşrâkîlik ve İbn Sînâ Meşşâiliğinin belirgin izleri vardır. Kelâmi tavrı açısından Eş‘arîliğe yakın dursa da her meselede bu ekolün hassasiyetlerini paylaşmamıştır.

Nizâmeddin al-Nîsâbûrî was a versatile scholar who lived during the Late Period (Müteahhirûn) of Islamic thought. In this new era, the convergence of various disciplines led to a transformation in the content of Qur’anic exegesis (tafsir). This phenomenon is particularly observable in the works of mufassirs (Qur’anic exegetes) concerned with metaphysical thought. This study examines the changing characteristics of tafsir writing in the period corresponding to the emergence of the second generation of classical Islamic sciences, with a focus on al-Nîsâbûrî’s Gharâib al-Qur’ân. This tafsir, written with reference to two seminal works of the period, al-Zemakhsharî’s al-Kashshāf and Fakhr al-Dīn al-Rāzī’s Mafātīḥ al-Ghayb, embodies the intellectual interests of the era and presents a rich content reflecting the scholarly landscape of the time. The aim of this research is to trace the transformation of issues (masā’il) in tafsir and identify al-Nîsâbûrî’s contributions to this change. The study consist of an introduction and three chapters. The first chapter explores the mufassir’s views on the Qur’an and tafsir, the second examines the use of linguistic and narrative materials in tafsir practice, and the third investigates how the mufassir brings philosophical and Sufi ethical theories into tafsir by considering his conceptions of God, the universe, and humanity. To track the transformation of issues in tafsir and to highlight the mufassir’s contributions to the field, comparative readings were necessary. In this research, not only the core sources of tafsir and tafsir literature were utilized, but works from other disciplines were also frequently consulted, especially in topics with a higher potential to reflect the specific characteristics of the new period. The findings suggest that the mufassir, in line with the dominant method of inquiry of the era, tahkīq (critical verification), confirmed the information in his sources, strived to make the expressions clearer, occasionally added information not found in the sources, and sometimes questioned the logical coherence of the transmissions in the source texts. In his treatment of the issue of human perfection (kāmāl), al-Nîsâbûrî heavily relied on the concepts and theories of various disciplines. His thought shows clear traces of metaphysical Sufism, Illuminationism (Ishrāqī), and Avicennian (Ibn Sīnā’s) Peripateticism. While his theological stance is closer to Ashʿarism, he did not always align with the sensitivities of this school on every issue.
