Publication: İlköğretim 6. sınıf görsel sanatlar dersinde işbirlikli öğrenmenin renk konusunun işlenişinde öğrenci başarısına etkisi
Abstract
Araştırmada ilköğretim 6. sınıflarda renk konusunun işbirliğine dayalı öğrenme yöntemi ile uygulanması hedeflenmiştir. Bu araştırma, işbirliğine dayalı öğrenme yönteminin öğrencilerin başarı ve tutumlarına etkisini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Kontrol gruplu ön test - son test modeline göre gerçekleştirilen araştırma İstanbul ili, Altayçeşme İlköğretim Okulu’nda görsel sanatlar dersi alan 6. sınıf öğrencileri üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Uygulama, 6. sınıf (12–13 yaş) çocuklarının sanatsal gelişim basamakları ve ilköğretim 6. sınıf görsel sanatlar dersi ncelenerek uygun etkinliklerle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada nicel verilerle elde edilen sonuçlar için başarı testi ve tutum ölçeği geliştirilmiş ve uygulamaya konulmuştur. Bu uygulamalar ön test, son test, tutum ölçeği şeklinde yapılmıştır. Deney grubuna işbirliğine dayalı öğrenme, kontrol grubuna ise geleneksel yöntem uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada toplanan nicel verilerin istatistiksel çözümleri için SPSS (The Statistical Packet for The Social Sciennes), Excel programlarından yararlanılmıştır. Puan hesaplamalarında aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma ve t-testi kullanılmıştır. Uygulanan işbirliğine dayalı öğrenme yönteminin, geleneksel yönteme göre öğrenmede öğrenciyi etkin kılarak öğrencilerin başarısını geliştirdiği görülmüştür. Tutumların ölçülmesinde; deney ve kontrol guruplarının ön test son test sonuçları arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunamamıştır. Uygulama sonucunda işbirliğine dayalı öğrenmenin geleneksel yönteme göre daha etkin bir öğrenme ortaya koyduğu görülmüş, görsel sanatlar dersinde uygulanması önerilmiştir.
In this research it is aimed to apply the color issue by cooperative learning method at 6th classes of primary school. The purpose of this research is to determine the impact of cooperative learning method to success and attitudes of the students. Research has been realized according to pretest-posttest model with a control group model at 6th class students studying visual arts course at Altayçeşme Primary School in Istanbul. Application was implemented by suitable activities in accordance with analysis of 6th class students’ (12-13 years old) artistic development grades and visual arts course programs. For the results obtained in quantitative data, a behavior scale and achievement test has been developed and applied. In this activity pretest, posttest and attitude scale techniques were used. To the test groups, cooperative learning method was applied and to the control groups, traditional learning method was applied. For statistical analysis of the quantitative date obtained in the research, SPSS (The Statistical Packet for the Social Sciences) and Excel programs were used. For the calculation of score points; arithmetic average, standard deviation and t-tests were used. It was observed that, cooperative learning method has improved success of the students more by making them active compared to the traditional teaching method. In the measurement of attitudes, there has no meaningful difference been found between pretest and posttest results of test and control groups. As a result of this research, it is observed that cooperative learning method is more effective learning method than traditional method and proposed to use in visual arts courses.
