Çağdaş zihin felsefesinde diğer zihinlerin bilincinin anlamlandırılması sorunu

Abstract

ÖZETZihin felsefesi alanında, diğer zihinler problemini incelediğimizde, bu konudaki çalışmaların çoğunun; ‘öznel deneyimlerin niteliği üzerine yapılan tartışmaların etrafında’ şekillendiğini görmekteyiz. Diğer zihinler problemi çerçevesinde yapılan bu tartışmalarda ‘öznel deneyimler’, bilincin niteliğini sorgulama anlamında, önemli bir yer teşkil etmektedir. Diğer zihinlerle ilgili yapılan tartışmalarda; öznel deneyimlerimiz sonucunda yapılan çıkarımlar, bilincin anlamlandırılmasına ilişkin farklı kuramların doğmasına sebep olmuştur. Bu çalışma, başkasının zihni üzerine belirtilen soru ve tartışmaları irdeleme amacını taşımakla birlikte, başkasının zihni üzerine oluşturulan makul yaklaşımları araştırma görevini üstlenmektedir. Bununla birlikte çalışmamız, diğer zihinler sorununun ülkemizde araştırılma ve tartışma ihtiyacına yönelik bir çalışma niteliğindedir. Diğer zihinler problemi, zihin felsefesinin, diğer konularına nazaran, üzerinde daha az durulmuş bir alanıdır. Konu hakkında Türkçe araştırmaların nadir olması ve diğer zihinler konusuna dair müstakil bir tez çalışması bulunmaması bu alandaki açığı gözler önüne sermektedir. Çalışmamız, bu boşluğu doldurmak adına mütevazı bir katkı sunmayı hedeflemektedir.

ABSTRACTIn the field of philosophy of mind, when we examine the problem of other minds, we see that most of the work on this topic has been shaped around discussions of the nature of subjective experiences. In these debates within the framework of the problem of other minds, subjective experiences constitute an important place in terms of questioning the quality of consciousness. In the discussions about other minds; inferences made as a result of our subjective experiences have led to the emergence of different theories about the meaning of consciousness. The aim of this study is to examine the questions and discussions on the mind of another person, but it is the task of investigating the reasonable approaches established on the mind of another person. However, our study is a study of the need to investigate and discuss the problem of other minds in our country. The problem of other minds is a less emphasized area of the philosophy of mind than other subjects. The rarity of Turkish research on the subject and the lack of a dissertation on other minds reveal the gap in this area. Our study aims to make a modest contribution to fill this gap.
