Publication: Planlanmış davranış teorisinin slaktivizme etkisi : Twitter kullanıcıları üzerine bir araştırma
Abstract
Bu araştırmada, uzmanlar ve araştırmacılar için halen tartışma konusu olan dijital aktivizmin slaktivizm boyutunu kavramsal olarak daha iyi anlamak için, “hangi unsurlar kişinin slaktivizme katılımını öngörür?“ sorusuna cevap bulunması amaçlanmaktadır. Bu amaçla araştırmada önce Planlanmış Davranış Teorisi, politik öz yeterlilik, dijital aktivizm ve slaktivizm kavramları incelenmiştir. Daha sonra bu kavramlar arasındaki ilişkiler ele alınmış ve slaktivizmin literatürdeki yeri ve güncel tartışmaları üzerine kuramsal çerçeve kısmı oluşturulmuştur. Twitter kullanıcılarının slaktivizme katılımını ölçmek için araştırma şekli olarak nicel araştırma şekli seçilmiştir. Böylece Planlanmış Davranış Teorisinin modellemeleri ile bireylerin slaktivizme katılma motivasyonları test edilmiştir. 28 sorudan oluşan ölçek ile çevrimiçi anket oluşturulmuştur. Toplamda geçerli 555 adet tam doldurulmuş anket elde edilmiştir. Toplanan veriler Microsoft Office Excel 2013 ile tablolaştırılmış, SPSS 20,0 yazılımı ile analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan analizler sonucu, Planlanmış Davranış Teorisi’nin “slaktivizme katılıma” olumlu etkisinin olduğu ve istatistiksel olarak anlamlı olduğu ortaya koyulmuştur. Politik öz yeterliliğin ise slaktivizme katılımda aracı rolü olmadığı ortaya konulmuştur.
In this study, it is aimed to find an answer to the question “Which elements predict one's participation in slacktivism? In order to better understand the concept of the slacktivism dimension of digital activism, which is still a topic of discussion for experts and researchers. For this purpose, the concept of Planned Behavior Theory, political self-efficacy, digital activism and slacktivism was examined in the research. Later, the relations between these concepts were discussed and the theoretical framework part was formed on the place of Slactivism in the literature and current debates. Thus, the motivation of individuals to participate in silvery was tested with the modeling of the Planned Behavior an online questionnaire was created with a scale consisting of 28 questions. A total of 555 valid filled questionnaires were obtained. The collected data were tabulated with Microsoft Office Excel 2013 and analyzed with SPSS 20.0 software. As a result of the analysis, it was revealed that Planned Behavior Theory has a positive effect on participation in slacktivism and is statistically significant. It has been demonstrated that political self-efficacy does not have a mediating role in participation in slacktivism.
