Abstract
Edebiyatımızın ilk yazılı belgeleri olan Orhun Kitabeleri’nden itibaren hemen hemen her eserde kullanılan atasözleri ve deyimler geçmişten günümüze gelişip değişerek ve zenginleşerek gelen kültür ve dil yapılarıdır. Osmanlı Devleti’nin son dönemlerinde ehemmiyeti anlaşılan bu dil yapılarıyla ilgili birçok derleme yapılmıştır. Türk Dil Kurumu Kütüphanesine Etüt/ 104-1 ve Etüt/ 104-2 numaraları ve Atalar Sözü adıyla kaydedilen Abdülhalim Hakkı’nın iki ciltlik eseri de bu derlemelerden biridir. Çalışmamızda bu eserin ikinci cildinin 1724.-1791. sayfaları ele alınmıştır. Çalışma; Giriş ve Yöntem, Çelebioğlu Abdulhalim Hakkı ve Atalar Sözü Mecmuası, Metin, Dizin, Sonuç ve Teklifler, Kaynaklar ve Ekler olmak üzere yedi bölümden oluşmaktadır. Atalar Sözü Mecmuası, Arap harfleri temelli Osmanlı elifbasıyla yazılmış, rika hatlı bir yazmadır. Yazımına 1898 Ağustos 22’den başlayarak en azından 1920 Kasım 12’ye kadar devam edilmiş olan eserin asıl metin kısmı; atasözü, deyim, vecize, mısra, beyit dua, alkış gibi yapılardan oluşan madde başları ile bu madde başlarına verilen izahlar ve alıntılardan oluşmaktadır. Bu çalışmada; Osmanlı elifbası ile yazılmış madde başları, açıklamalar ve alıntılar tespit edilerek Türkiye Türkçesine aktarılmış; alıntıların yazımı ise çeviri yazı ile yapılmıştır. Kaynak metinde geçen farklı imlalar çeşitli sözlüklerden tespit edilerek dipnotta gösterilmiş, ağızlarda geçen kelimelerin anlamları notlanmıştır. Alıntılar ekseriyetle birincil kaynaklardan tahkik edilerek tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonunda eserden daha kolay faydalanılması için bir dizin oluşturulmuştur.
Proverbs and idioms used in almost every work since the Orkhon Inscriptions, which are the first written documents of our literature, are cultural and linguistic structures that have evolved, changed and enriched from the past to the present. Many compilations have been made about these language structures, the importance of which was understood in the last periods of the Ottoman Empire. One of these compilations is Abdülhalim Hakkı’s two-volume work, which was registered in the Turkish Language Institution Library with the numbers Etude/ 104-1 and Etude/ 104-2 and with the name “Atalar Sözü”. In our study, the second volume of this work, 1724. -1791. pages are covered. The study consists of seven chapters; Introduction and the Method, Celebioglu Abdulhalim Hakkı and Atalar Sözü Mecmuası, Text, Index, Conclusions and Propasals, References and Appendix. Atalar Sözü Mecmuası is a script written in Ottoman alphabet based on Arabic letters, with rika calligraphy. The main text part of the work, which was written starting from August 22, 1898, and continued until at least November 12, 1920; involves item headings consisting of structures such as proverb, idiom, saying, verse, couplet prayer, applause and the explanations and quatations given to these headings. In this study; item headings, explanations and quotations written in Ottoman alphabet were determined and transferred to Turkey Turkish and the writing of the quotations has been done with the translated text. Different spellings in the source text were determined from various dictionaries and shown in the footnote, and the meanings of the words in the dialects were noted. Quotations are mostly researched and identified from primary sources. At the end of the study, an index has been created for easier use of the work.
