Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye‘nin Doğu ve Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesi‘nde Kürt nüfusun yoğunluklu olduğu çeşitli illerde, 1946-1980 yılları arasında siyasal temsil ve katılımın parlamenter düzeyde nasıl gerçekleştiğini araştırmaktır
This study explores political representation and engagement of Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia regions, known to have dense Kurdish population and referred further to as Eastern region, in the Turkish parliament between 1946 and 1980. It is intended to bring forward essence of relations between political movements and local political capacities by looking into parliamentarian system from 1946, shift to multiple-party democracy époque in Turkey, via Eastern perspective. In this respect election ballot distributions are analyzed for the region as well as political, social, economic and cultural profiles of the parliamentarians elected here.
