Mehmet Yaşar Kandemir hayatı, eserleri ve hadis ilmine katkısı

Abstract

Türkiye’de özellikle 1959’dan sonra İlahiyat alanında yüksek ilim tahsili veren ve akademik araştırmalar yapan kurumların sayısı giderek artmaya başlamıştır. Bu dönemden itibaren gerek eğitim veren söz konusu kurumlar gerek yapılan ilmî çalışmalar ivme kazanmıştır. Dolayısıyla döneme tanıklık eden şahıslar, fikirleri ve eserleri üzerinde çalışmalar yapmak önem arz etmektedir. Bu tür araştırmalar çalışmaya konu olan kişiyi, eserlerini, tanıma ve tanıtma fırsatı sunarken aynı zamanda İslâmî ilimler alanındaki çalışmaların günümüzdeki seyrini değerlendirme imkânı da verecektir. Diğer ilim dallarında olduğu gibi hadis alanında da öne çıkan isimler bu anlamda incelenmeyi fazlasıyla hak etmektedir. Bu tezde, dönemine ve sonrasına etki eden emektar hadis hocalarından Mehmet Yaşar Kandemir’in hayatı, eserleri ve hadis ilmine katkısının sunulması hedeflenmiştir. Hocaların hocası konumundaki Mehmet Yaşar Kandemir, sözü geçen dönemden itibaren bugüne kadar kaleme aldığı tercüme, telif eserleri ve şerhleriyle, yazdığı makale ve ansiklopedi maddeleriyle Türkiye’deki hadis çalışmalarına kayda değer katkıda bulunmuştur. Kitaplarının yanı sıra pek çok talebe yetiştirmiş, halka açık yaptığı derslerle onlara Peygamber Efendimizi, hadisleri tanıtmayı, sevdirmeyi ve onların hadis bilgisini artırmayı amaçlamıştır. Döneminde yaşanan sıkıntıları ve toplumun ihtiyaçlarını dikkate alarak akademinin yanı sıra yarı akademik kaleme aldığı eserleriyle ilmî birikimini halka aktarma gayreti içinde olmuştur.

In Turkey, especially after 1959, the number of institutions providing higher education in the field of Theology and conducting academic research began to increase gradually. Since this period, both the institutions providing education and the scientific studies have gained momentum. Therefore, it is important to work on the people who witnessed the period, their ideas and their works. Such research will provide the opportunity to get to know and promote the person who is the subject of the study, his works, and will also give the opportunity to evaluate the current course of studies in the field of Islamic sciences. As in other branches of science, prominent names in the field of hadith deserve to be examined in this sense. In this thesis, it is aimed to present the life and works of Mehmet Yaşar Kandemir, one of the veteran hadith teachers who influenced his period and after, and his contribution to the science of hadith. Mehmet Yaşar Kandemir, who is the teacher of the teachers, has contributed significantly to the hadith studies in Turkey with his translations, copyrighted works and commentaries, articles and encyclopedia articles he has written since the aforementioned period. In addition to his books, he trained many students and aimed to introduce our Prophet and hadiths to them and to increase their knowledge of hadiths through public lectures. Taking into account the problems experienced in his period and the needs of the society, he made an effort to convey his scientific knowledge to the public with his semi-academic works as well as the academy.
