“Auteur Kuram” çerçevesinde reha erdem sineması

Abstract

Bu çalışma, Reha Erdem’in filmografisini oluşturan uzun metrajlı filmlerin yapısal çözümleme yönteminden faydalanarak analiz edilmesi sonucunda yönetmeni auteur yapan öğelerin belirlenmesinden oluşmaktadır. Yapılan bu kapsamlı çalışmada “auteur kuram” kılavuz olarak seçilmiştir. İlk bölümde auteur kuramın ne olduğuna, nasıl ortaya çıkıp geliştiğine, kuram hakkındaki tartışmalara ve kuramın günümüzdeki karşılığına yer verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde yönetmenin biyografisi, yaşadığı dönemin sosyo-ekonomik, politik, kültürel, teknolojik yapısı ve yönetmenle aynı kuşağı paylaşan diğer yönetmenler incelenmiştir. Bu bölümde yönetmenin filmlerinin künyesine ve detaylı öyküsüne yer verilerek filmlerdeki görsel ve işitsel kodlar, göstergeler aracılığıyla çözümlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Reha Erdem sinemasının kendine özgü nitelikleri ön plana çıkarılıp, kaynaklar yardımıyla somutlaştırılmıştır. Yapılan analizler neticesinde Reha Erdem’i auteur yapan filmler arasındaki ortak paydalar tespit edilmiş, son bölümde on bir başlık altında ele alınmıştır. Gerçekleştirilen bu çalışma, şimdiye dek Reha Erdem üzerine yapılan en kapsamlı araştırma olması ve literatüre sağladığı katkı bakımından önem taşımaktadır.

This study consists of identifying the elements that make the director auteur as a result of the analysis of the feature films that made up Reha Erdem's filmography by using the structural analysis method. In this comprehensive study, auteur theory was determined as a guide. In the first part some given that what auteur theory is, how it emerged and developed, discussions about the theory and the current state of the theory. In the second part, the biography of the director, the socio-economic, political, cultural and technological structure of the period and other directors who share the same generation with Reha Erdem are examined. The director's films contain detailed information about his films. Visual and audio codes in films are tried to be analyzed through indicators. The unique characteristics of Reha Erdem’s cinema have been brought to the forefront and concretized with the help of sources. As a result of the analyzes, the common denominators among the films that make Reha Erdem auteur have been determined. It has been discussed under eleven titles in last chapter. This study is the most comprehensive research on Reha Erdem so far. Therefore it’s important in terms of its contribution to literature.
