Türkiye’deki gelir dağılımı ve makro ekonomik faktörlerin gelir dağılımı üzerine etkisi : bir ekonometrik analiz

Abstract

TÜRKİYE’DE GELİR DAĞILIMI VE MAKRO EKONOMİK FAKTÖRLERİN GELİR DAĞILIMI ÜZERİNE ETKİSİ: BİR EKONOMETRİK ANALİZ Bu çalışmada Türkiye’nin gelir dağılımı sorununun ne olduğu ve daha sonra gelir dağılımının makroekonomik faktörlerle ilişkisi incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu yüzden önce gelir dağılımı kavramı, gelir dağılımının ölçüm yolları ve Türkiye’nin gelir dağılımı diğer ülkeler açısından karşılaştırılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Türkiye’de gelir dağılımı açısından yapılan çalışmalar derlenerek ülke içinde kent ve kır ayrımı yorumlanmıştır. Daha sonra iktisadi ve iktisadi olmayan her bir faktörün gelir dağılımı üzerindeki etkisi değerlendirilmiştir. Özellikle kronik bir şekilde Türkiye’yi etkileyen makroekonomik faktörlerin gelir dağılımı üzerindeki etkisine daha çok önem gösterilmiştir. 1980-2009 yılları arasındaki gelir dağılımı sonuçları değerlendirerek gelir dağılımının üzerinde etkisi olduğu düşünülen makroekonomik faktörlerin regresyon analizleri yapılmıştır. Yapılan analizlerin sonuçlarına göre gelirle gelir dağılımı arasında ters U hipotezi olarak bilinen Kuznets eğrisi doğrulanmıştır. Kuznets eğrisinin dönüm noktası yaklaşık 1602,2 TL olduğu bulunmuştur. Anlamlı olarak elde edilen değişkenlerden kamu harcamaları beklentilere uygun bir şekilde çıkmamıştır. Yapılan çalışmadan kamu harcamaları arttıkça gelir dağılımının azaldığı tespit edilmiştir. INCOME DISTRIBUTION IN TURKEY AND THE EFFECTS OF MACRO ECONOMİC FACTORS ON INCOME DISTRIBUTION: AN ECONOMETRİC ANALYSİS In this study it has been tried to research what the trouble of income distribution of Turkey is and then the relationship of income distribution with macro economics factors. That’s why, first of all, the concept of income distribution, measurement ways of income distribution and Turkey’s income distribution have been compared with those of the other countries and evaluated. The studies done in terms of income distribution in turkey have been gathered and the difference between urban and rural parts has been interpretated. Afterwords, the effect on income distribution of each factor whether they are economic or uneconomic has been evaluated. Especially, it has been put more emphasis on the effect of more economic factors affecting Turkey cronicly on income distribution. The result of income distribution between 1980 and 2009 has been assessed and macro economic factors, which are thought to have effect on income distribution have been done the regression analysis. According to the results of this analysis, Kuznets curve known as reverse U hypotesis between income and income distribution has been verified. It has been found that the turning point of Kuznets curve is about 1602,2 TL. From variables which have been significantly acquired, public expenditure do not come up to our expectations. It has been identified that the more public expenditure increase, the more income distribution decreases.
