Abstract

Çalışmanın esasını, Ahmed Midhat Efendi’nin Kâinat adlı eserinin on bir ve on ikinci ciltlerinde yer alan Portugal ve İspanya metinlerinin yeni harflere çevrimi teşkil eder. Çalışmamızda öncelikle Ahmed Midhat Efendi’nin hayatı, romancılığı, romanları ile mezkûr ülkelerin tarihi incelenmiştir. The main essence of the thesis is to translate to new letters of “Portugal” and “Spain” which are the 11th and 12th volumes of the book of “Kainat” by Ahmed Midhat Efendi. In this work in addition to Ahmed Midhat Efendi’s life and his novelistic figüre and his novels, the histories of the countries mentioned above have been examined. In this study, we also mentioned about the significant events in the history of the country and his opinions about these events.
