Güzel sanatlar lisesi 11. sınıf öğrencilerinin portre çalışmalarında, chuck close’un röprodüksiyonlarının renk kullanımlarına etkisi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı; Güzel sanatlar lisesi resim bölümünde okuyan 11. Sınıf İki Boyutlu Sanat Atölye dersi öğrencilerinin, portre çalışmalarında renk kullanımlarındaki yeterliliklerinin incelenmesi, yürütülecek işlemlerin, öğrencilerin foto gerçekçi ressam Chuck Close’un eserlerindeki renk değerlerini, titreşimlerini ve lekelerini uygulayacakları röprodüksiyonlarında renk kullanımlarına etkisini ölçmektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, yarı deneysel deneme modellerinden ön-test – son-test kontrol gruplu modele göre araştırma süreci tasarlanıp yürütülmüştür. Çalışma, 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılında İstanbul Avni Akyol Güzel Sanatlar Lisesi resim bölümünde İki Boyutlu Sanat Atölye dersini okuyan 11. Sınıf öğrencilerinden tipik örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilen 30 öğrenci ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırma kapsamında 2019 yılı Mart, Nisan ve Mayıs aylarında deney grubu öğrencileriyle Chuck Close’un röprodüksiyon tekniği kullanılarak portre çalışmaları yapılmıştır. Kontrol grubu öğrencilerine ise sanatçının tekniği gösterilmemiştir. Öğrencilere deneysel sürecin başlangıcında, süreç içerisinde ve süreç sonunda üçer tane portre çalışması yaptırılmıştır. Öğrenci çalışmaları, araştırma kapsamında geliştirilen değerlendirme aracı ile incelenmiş ve oluşturulan veri SPSS programında analiz edilmiştir. Ulaşılan sonuçlar Chuck Close’un röprodüksiyon tekniğinin öğrencilerin renk tonu, valör kullanımı ve renk seçimi konularındaki becerilerinin gelişimine katkı sunduğunu göstermektedir.

The aim of this study is to investigate the competence of 11th grade students in the use of color in portrait studies. In addition, in the study, the color valuations and vibrations in the works of photo-realistic artist Chuck Close was examined and the effect of the technique of the artist on the work of the students was investigated. In accordance with the purpose, this research was designed and conducted as semi-experimental model with pre-test post-test control groupThe study was carried out with 30 students who were selected with typic sample technique from the 11th grade students who attended the two dimensional art workshop course at the painting department of Avni Akyol Fine Arts High School in Istanbul in 2018-2019 academic year.Within the scope of the research, portraits were carried out with the experimental group students in March, April and May of 2019 using the reproduction technique of Chuck Close. The technique of the artist was not used to the control group students At the beginning of the experimental process, during the process and at the end of the process, three portraits were made by the students. Students' studies were examined with the assessment tool developed within the scope of the research and the obtained data was analyzed in SPSS program. The results show that the reproduction technique of Chuck Close contributes to the development of students' skills in color tone, valeur utilization and color selection.
