İdiyopatik trombositopenik purpura tanılı iki hastada steroid kullanımına baglı gelişen izole diz osteonekrozu

Abstract

İdiyopatik trombositopenik purpura (İTP) düşük trombosit sayısı ve muko-kütanöz kanama ile karakterize olan bir hastalıktır. Tedavisinde yaygın olarak steroidler kullanılmaktadır. Steroidlerin iyi bilinen yan etkilerinden birisi de osteonekrozdur. Bununla birlikte literatürde İTP hastalarında steroid kullanımı sonrası gelişen izole diz osteonekrozu bildirilmemiştir. Bu yazıda, İTP tanısı nedeniyle steroid kullanırken polikliniğimize diz ağrısı ile başvuran ve diz osteonekrozu tanısı konulan iki hasta sunulmuştur.

Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) is characterized by low platelet count and mucocutaneous bleeding and steroids are commonly used for the treatment of this disorder. Osteonecrosis is one of the well-known side effects of steroids. However, no case of isolated knee osteonecrosis after steroid use has been reported in the literature to date. In this paper, we presented two cases of knee osteonecrosis who had received steroids for the treatment of ITP.
