Abstract
Bu araştırmanın temel amacı, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nin kuruluşundan günümüze Sosyal Bilgiler ve Sosyal Bilgiler kapsamında yürütülmüş derslere ait ders kitaplarında, Doğu-Batı bağlamında ele alınan “öteki” olgusuna yönelik dil/ üslup, imge ve stereotiplerin incelenmesidir.
The primary aim of this study was to examine the language/ wording, image and stereotypes regarding the phenomenon of other addressed in the context of the East-West in the coursebooks used in the social studies course and other courses taught as part of social studies education since the foundation of the Republic of Turkey.
