Publication: Canlılarda üreme büyüme ve gelişme ünitesinin çoklu yazma etkinlikleri kullanılarak öğretilmesinin değerlendirilmesi
Abstract
CANLILARDA ÜREME BÜYÜME VE GELİŞME ÜNİTESİNİN ÇOKLU YAZMA ETKİNLİKLERİ KULLANILARAK ÖĞRETİLMESİNİN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ Bu araştırmanın amacı; Canlılarda Üreme Büyüme ve Gelişme ünitesinin çoklu yazma etkinlikleri kullanılarak öğretilmesinin akademik başarıya ve kavram öğrenmeye etkisini araştırmaktır. Araştırma 2010-2011 Eğitim Öğretim yılında İstanbul ili Zeytinburnu İlçesindeki bir ilköğretim okulunda gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemini 6. sınıflarda öğrenim görmekte olan 45 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Canlılarda Üreme Büyüme ve Gelişme ünitesi deney grubu öğrencilerine çoklu yazma etkinlikleri ile işlenirken, kontrol grubu öğrencilerine ise mevcut öğretim yöntemleriyle işlenmiştir. Araştırma nicel bir çalışma olup, deneysel bir desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama amacıyla, araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan başarı ve kavram testi hem ön ve hem de son test olarak uygulanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde ilişkisiz grup t testi, ilişkili grup t testi kovaryans analizi (ANCOVA), Mann Whitney-U Testi, istatistik teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Bütün istatistiksel işlemlerde en az 0.05 düzeyinde anlamlılık aranmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlarda; “Canlılarda Üreme Büyüme ve Gelişme” ünitesinin çoklu yazma etkinlikleri kullanılarak öğretilmesinin mevcut fen öğretime göre öğrenci başarısına ve kavram öğrenmeye katkısının daha fazla olduğu tespit edilmiştir. oklu yazma etkinlikleri, Öğrenme amaçlı yazma, Canlılarda üreme büyüme ve gelişme ünitesi, Fen öğretimi.
THE EFFECT OF MULTIMODAL WRITING ON STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT VALUATION OF TEACHING THE REPRODUCTION GROWTH AND UNDERSTANDING OF SCIENCE CONCEPTS CONCERNING LIVINGS UNIT The purpose of this study was to investigate The Effect Of Multimodal Writing On Student Achievement Valuation Of Teaching The Reproduction Growth And Understanding Of Science Concepts Concerning Livings Unit. The study was done in a primary school in Zeytinburnu province, in the city of Istanbul in the 2010-2011 education year. The sample of the study is 45 sixth grade students. The reproduction growth and development unit was taught with the help of science writing heuristic methods for the experiment group students, on contrary to the experiment group; for control group students present teaching methods was used. This study is a quantitative study, and an experimental pattern was used. In order to collect information during the study, the achievement and concept tests which were designed by the researcher, were applied both pre and post test. In the analyzing of data process, independent group t test, dependent group t test covariance analyzes (ANCOVA), Mann Whitney – U Test, and statistical techniques were used. At least, at a level of 0.05 significance value was enquired in all statistical operations. According to the findings of the study, it has been found that using multimodal writing tasks for Teaching the Reproduction Growth and Understanding of Science Concepts Concerning Livings Unit have more contributions than traditional teaching methods to student achievement and concept learning.
