Publication: Technical analysis of the firms in IMKB ands its implementation
Abstract
Günümüz koşulları altında firmaların halka arzıyla beraber firmaların teknik analizi artık sadece şirketler tarafından değil,yatırımcılar açısından da büyük önem kazanmıştır. Ancak analiz metodlarının doğru biçimde yapılamaması veya yapılan analizlerin yatırımcılar tarafından anlaşılamaması bilinçsiz ve yanlış yatırım araçlarının tercih edilmesine sebebiyet vermektedir. Borsa'da yer alan şirketlerin teknik analizlerinin yapılabilmesi günümüzde bir takım profesyonel yazılımlar aracılığıyla olmaktadır. Bu programların karmaşık bir yapıda olması ve ayrıca ortaya çıkan değerlendirmelerinin kullanıcılar tarafından anlaşılamaması ise başka bir problem yaratmaktadır. Ayrıca bu programlar maliyet açısından da kullanıcıya büyük bir yük olmaktadır. Bir kısım yatırımcılar ise teknik analiz sonuçlarına sadece ekonomi dergilerinde ve kısıtlı sayıda hissenin analizi yapılmış biçimde erişebilmektedir. Dolayısıyla teknik analiz yapmak isteyen yatırımcılar hem maliyet açısından sorunla karşılaşmakta hem de güvenilirliliği tartışılan teknik analizler neticesinde hareket etmek zorunda kalmaktadırlar. Teknik analiz yapan kurumlar açısından da maliyet çok önemlidir. Yazılımlara büyük paralar ödenmekte ve ayrıca bunları web üzerinden kullanıcılara sunmak isterlerse ayrı bir paket kullanmak durumunda kalmaktadırlar. Gelişen teknoloji ile beraber daha güvenilir, daha hesaplı ve bilgiye anında erişimin sağlandığı sistemlerin kurulumu ülkemiz koşulları altında halen üzerinde düşünülmesi gerekn bir problem olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Teknik analiz bir şirketin yönetimine ışık tutacağı gibi, yatırımcıların veya hissedarların da yapılan ve yapılacak olan hareket ve kararların ne şekilde sonuçlandığı hakkında bilgi verir. Başka bir ifadeyle kararların tutarlılığını denetler. Dolayısıyla doğru yatırım araçlarının seçilmesi ve yatırımcıların firmalar hakkında kısa zamanda gerçek bilgilere erişimi önemsenmiştir. Ekonomik açıdan da maliyetin daha düşük olduğu sistemler kullanılarak hem firmaların hem de yatırım sahiplerinin gözetimi de dikkat edilecek bir başka konudur. Sonuçta ortaya çıkartılması düşünülen programda İMKB (İstanbul Menkul Kıymetler Borsası) 'nda hissesi yer alan en az 10 şirketin teknik analizleri yapılarak , kullanıcıya bir yol göstermesi hedeflenmiştir. Kısa zamanda teknik analizin yapılması, internet aracılığıyla herhangi bir zamanda ve herhangi bir yerdeyken bilgilere ulaşılarak, doğru şirketlere yatırım yapılması açısından kolaylık sağlanılması bu çalışmada sağlanmıştır. Ortaya çıkacak olan program ileride paket program halinde daha kapsamlı şekilde yatırım kurumları tarafından da kullanılabilecektir. Oracle veritabanı ve linux işletim sisteminde perl dili ve dbi ( database interface) kullanılarak bağlantının sağlanması ve RSI (Relative Strength Index), Stoachastic, MACD başta olmak üzere örnek borsa şirketlerinin teknik analizlerinin yapılması, HTML ve cgi scriptler yardımıyla internet üzerinden sunumu hedeflenmiştir. Ayrıca bu çalışmada yeni teknik analiz metodu yatırımcılar için geliştirilmiştir. Program için gereken değerler her seans sonunda İMKB tarafından açıklanmakta ve internet üzerinden isteyen kişilerin çekebileceği dosya formatında web sayfalarında duyurulmaktadır. Gerçek değerler bu sayfadan çekilerek Oracle veritabanına işlenmiş ve program gerçek değerler göz önüne alınarak değerlendirilmiştir.
With more and more companies going public, technical analysis is playing an important role not only for the managers but also for the investors. Because of the wrong calculations for the technical analysis methods or misunderstanding results cause the investors to choose the wrong shares for investment. The technical analysis of the shares of the firms that are located in stock exchange can be examined by professional softwares.The complicatedness of these softwares and the mis-understanding results that can be obtained from these softwares are problems for the investors. In addition to these problems cost of the softwares is also very high for the investors. Also some investors can obtain the results of these technical analysis only from some economic magazines. Due to these facts, investors who want to examine the technical analysis of the shares not only have problems about software costs but also have to deal with the problems of unconfidential technical analysis of magazines. Another point of view affects the investment associations. These firms pay a lot of money for these kind of softwares and if they want to declare the results on the web then they have to buy another packet program for this aim. With the improving technology, the maintanance of more reliable, more economical and online system software becomes a serious problem for us. Technical analysis not only gives an idea for the managers of the firm but also effects the shareholders actions, as understanding the results of their investment . In other words it controls the consistency of the decisions. Choosing the right investment method and getting the reliable results of the technical analysis for the firms in a short time are the most important points for the technical analysis. Since the maintanance cost is important for both investors and for investment associations, this is another important point for this study. The main aim of the project is giving an idea for the investors during decision-making for the shares. And some online technical analysis of the decided-shares ,based on the prices of IMKB, are going to be simulated. Calculating the results of technical analysis in a short time and getting the results from anywhere and anytime by using internet protocols, investors can choose the right investment method in a convenient way. The program can also be used by the investment assotiations for their investors in the future. By using Perl, computer language, and dbi, database interface , connection with the Oracle , database system, which is installed on Linux operating system, will be established and some technical analysis methods such as RSI, relative strength index, stochastics, MACD will be performed on data and the results will be published on internet by HTML and cgi scripts. Also a new technical analysis method is designated for the investors in this study. Necessary input values for the program can be obtained from the official web site of IMKB.The results are declared on the web after each session. The result are going to be obtained and added to the oracle database. So the applications will be based on real-inputs.
