Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu belirlemek üzere amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden tipik durumörnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında İstanbul ili Üsküdar ilçesinde bulunan özel öğretimkurumlarında görev yapmakta olan 14 öğretmen ile görüşülmüştür. Görüşmeler sonucunda elde edilen veriler, benzer temaların belirlenmesi ve kodlanmasını içeren içerik analizine tabi tutulmuştur.
