AİLE İŞLETMELERİNİN KURUMSALLAŞMA SÜRECİNDE İKİNCİ KUŞAĞIN YAŞADIĞI SORUNLAR ÜZERİNE BİR ARAŞTIRMA

Abstract

Günümüz aile işletmelerinin yaşamlarını ve rekabet avantajlarını devam ettirebilmeleri için gereken verimliliği ve etkinliği sağlamaları gerekmektedir. Verimliliğin ve etkinliğin sağlanabilmesi için önemli unsurların en başında kurumsallaşma gelmektedir. Bu nedenle, bu çalışmada, aile işletmelerinde kurumsallaşma düzeyi, kurumsallaşma sürecinde ikinci kuşağın yaşadığı yönetsel sorunların araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmanın amacı doğrultusunda, öncelikle kurumsallaşma ve kurumsallaşma düzeyi konuları kısaca açıklanacaktır. Daha sonra, kurumsallaşma sürecinde ikinci kuşağa değinilerek yaşanan yönetsel sorunlar saptanacaktır. Son kavram olarak, aile işletmelerinde kurumsallaşma ve kurumsal yönetim kavramları incelenecektir. Bu çalışma; üç temel bölümden oluşmaktadır. Çalışmanın ilk bölümünde literatür incelemesi, ikinci bölümde; araştırmanın kuramsal temelleri ile bu çalışmanın temel kavramlarının tanımları, son bölümde ise araştırma ve bulguların değerlemesi yer almaktadır

All family enterprises nowadays are trying to have competitive advantage in their market and increase the productivity and efficiency of their operations. These are mandatory factors for those companies to survive and stay competitive in their markets. Institutionalization is one of the most important elements provides enterprises better competitive advantage, productivity and efficiency. This study aims to specify the level of institutionalization at family business and the problems that second generation of the related family faces during the institutionalization process. Because of this, study emphasizes, family business, institutionalization and second generation of the family's problems. In parallel with the goal of this study, first institutionalization and levels of institutionalization will be shortly described. After this, the details of the problems that second generations are facing shall be determined. As the last concept of this study, the fundamentals of institutionalization at family business and corporate management will be analyzed. This study consisted of 3 sections. The first section is about the analysis of literature, second section defines the corporate fundamentals of the research and definition of the basic concepts, last section is about evaluation of the research and findings
