Aile işletmelerinde örgütsel yedekleme metal ana sanayinde faaliyet gösteren işletmelerin örgütsel yedekleme açısından incelenmesi

Abstract

AİLE İŞLETMELERİNDE ÖRGÜTSEL YEDEKLEME METAL ANA SANAYİNDE FAALİYET GÖSTEREN İŞLETMELERİN ÖRGÜTSEL YEDEKLEME AÇISINDAN İNCELENMESİ Aile işletmeleri Türkiye ekonomisi üzerinde önemli bir etkiye sahiptir. Türkiye ekonomisi için arz ettiği öneme karşın aile işletmelerinin % 20'si ikinci kuşağa, % 3.4'ü de üçüncü kuşağa geçebilmektedir. Aile işletmelerinin kısa ömürlü olmalarının temel nedeni yedekleme planlamasının eksikliğidir. Bütün aile işletmeleri için stratejik öneme sahip olan konu yedekleme; liderliğin bir kuşaktan diğerine geçmesidir. Örgütsel yedekleme; potansiyel yedeği belirleme ve üstleneceği yeni rolü için hazırlamaya yönelik yapılandırılmış bir süreçtir. Yedekleme genellikle uzun bir süreçtir ve işletmeyi gelecekte oluşacak ani değişimlere karşı koruma konusunda kritik öneme sahiptir. Aile işletmelerinde örgütsel yedekleme ile kastedilen yönetimin kontrolünün bir kuşaktan diğerine geçişini kolaylaştıran formal bir süreçtir. Araştırmacıların aile işletmelerinde devamlılık ve başarı için yedekleme planına dikkat çekmelerine rağmen bir çok aile işletmesi bu konuyu şansa bırakmışlardır. Kurucuların yedeklemeyi sürekli ertelemesi işletmenin sonunun gelmesine neden olmaktadır. Türkiye'de aile işletmelerinin örgütsel yedekleme süreci açısından incelenmesi işletmelerin mevcut durumları ile olması gereken arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemek ve bu noktada eksiklikleri tespit ederek işletmelere yol göstermek açısından büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bu nedenle araştırmamızda metal ana sanayinde faaliyet gösteren işletmelerin örgütsel yedekleme süreci açısından profillerinin ortaya konması amaçlanmaktadır.

SUCCESSİON PLANNING IN FAMILY BUSINESSES ANALYSE OF BUSİNESSES IN METAL INDUSTRY Family business plays a significant role in Turkish economy. In spite of its significance however only about 20 percent of family businesses survive the transition into the second generation and fewer than 3.4 percent survive a transfer to the third generation. The major reason for the high mortality in family firms is lack of succession planning. A unique strategic issue shared by all family firms is succession; the transference of leadership from one generation to the next. Succession planning is a proccess which contain to determine the successor and prepare to his or her new role. Succession planning ussualy is a long-time proccess and it has got a very important role to safe the company toward sudden change which will appear in the future. Meaning of the succession planning for the family businesses is that a formal process which makes easy the control of the management to transfer from one generation to another. Researchers have long stressed the importance of succession planning to ensure the contiuty and prosperity of family businesses. Analyse of the succession planning in Turkish family businesses is very important to see connection between their succession planning structure and ideal structure. In that point another importance of this analyse is that find the lacks of the Turkish family businessess succession planning structure and give some advise. So in our study it is purposed that to show the succession planning profile of the Turkish family businesses which are working in the metal industry.
