Aile değerleri ve kadının toplumsal konumunun Türk toplumu ve dizileri üzerinden analizi

Abstract

Türk toplumunda izlenen dizilerin toplumun aile değerlerine uyumlu olması 6112 sayılı kanuna ve kamuoyuna göre önem arzetmektedir. Bu bağlamda çalışmanın temel amacı olan Türk toplumunda izlenen dizilerin Türk toplumunun aile değerlerini ve kadının ailedeki konumu üzerine tutumları ile paralellik arz edip etmediği sorunsalına cevap üretmek önem kazanmaktadır. Bu amaç çerçevesinde Türk toplumunun aile değerlerini ve izledikleri dizileri tespit etmek için çevrimiçi anket çalışması uygulanmıştır. Çalışmanın nitel araştırma kısmında ise bu anket çalışmasında belirlenen “Gönül Dağı”, “Camdaki Kız”, “Yargı”, “Arka Sokaklar”, “Teşkilat”, “Squid Game”, “La casa de papel”, “Leyla ile Mecnun” “Şahsiyet” ve “Kulüp” dizileri “Aile Değerleri Ölçeği”ne yeniden uygulanan faktör analizi sonucu ortaya çıkan 5 faktör ve “Kadının Ailedeki Konumu” kategorilerinde göstergebilimsel ve söylem analizi yöntemleri kullanılarak incelenmiştir. Çalışmada elde edilen sonuçlara göre bu durumun konu edilecek değere göre değişiklik göstereceğidir. Bu bağlamda Türk toplumunda izlenen diziler toplumun geleneksel aile değerleri, eşler arasında eşitikçi ilişki, evliliğe baskıcı erkek bakışı tutumları ile paralel söylemler üretmektedir. Hem toplum hem de diziler geleneksel aile değerlerini orta düzeyde, eşler arasıda eşitlikçi ilişkiyi yüksek düzeyde desteklemekte ve evliliğe baskıcı erkek bakışını yüksek düzeyde reddetmektedir. Diğer yandan diziler, anneliğe ve ev hanımlığına olumsuz bakış ve cinselliğe ve evliliğe farklı bakış tutumlarında toplum ile kısmen örtüşmektedir. Kadının ailedeki konumu noktasından ise geleneksel aile değerlerinin desteklediği kadın konumu dizilerde çoğunlukla toplumun tutumundan farklı olarak olumsuz bir tarzda temsil edilmiştir. Liberal Feminist düşüncenin desteklediği eşitlikçi kadın konumu ise dizilerde toplumun tutumu ile paralel bir şekilde yüksek düzeyde destekleyici bir biçimde temsil edilmiştir. Kadının cinsel özgürlüğü açısından ise diziler toplumdan tamamen farkı tutum benimsemekte ve bu özgürlüğü destekleyecek temsiller üretmektedir.

According to Law No. 6112 and the public, it is important that the serials watched in Turkish society are compatible with the family values of the society. In this context, it becomes important to answer the question of whether the serials watched in Turkish society are in line with the Turkish society's family values and attitudes towards the position of women in the family, which is the main purpose of the study. For this purpose, an online survey was conducted to determine the family values of the Turkish society and the serials they watch. In the qualitative research part of the study, Gönül Dağı, Camdaki Kız, Yargı, Arka Sokaklar, Teşkilat, Squid Game, La casa de papel, Leyla ile Mecnun Şahsiyet” and “Kulüp” series were examined using semiotic and discourse analysis methods in the 5 factors that emerged as a result of the factor analysis re-applied to the “Family Values Scale” and the “Women's Position in the Family” categories. According to the results obtained in the study, the harmony between society's attitude and the representations in the TV series will vary depending on the family value examined. In this context, the TV series watched in Turkish society produce parallel discourses with the society's traditional family values, egalitarian relationships between spouses, and oppressive male views on marriage. Both society and TV series support traditional family values at a moderate level, egalitarian relationships between spouses at a high level, and reject the oppressive male view of marriage at a high level. On the other hand, the TV series partially overlap with the society in terms of negative views on motherhood and housewifery and different attitudes towards sexuality and marriage. In terms of the position of women in the family, the position of women supported by traditional family values is often represented in the TV series in a negative way, unlike the attitude of society. The egalitarian women's position, supported by Liberal Feminist thought, is represented in the TV series in a highly supportive manner, in parallel with the attitude of society. In terms of women's sexual freedom, TV series adopt a completely different attitude from society and produce representations that support this freedom.
