Mesleki eğitim ve mesleki eğitimi geliştirme projesi (megep) uygulamaları: İstanbul’da bir araştırma

Abstract

Türkiye uzun süredir iş gücünün niteliğini yükseltmek ve ekonominin tüm sektörlerinde istihdam imkânlarını artırabilmek için mesleki eğitim sistemini geliştirmeye çalışmaktadır. Bu çaba, Türkiye'nin dünyanın önde gelen ekonomileri arasında rekabet edebilirliği ve Avrupa Birliği’ne giriş bağlamında daha da anlamlı hale gelmektedir. Bu kapsamda geliştirilen Mesleki Eğitimi Geliştirme Projesi (MEGEP) Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Hükümeti ile Avrupa Birliği arasında imzalanmıştır. İş piyasasının ihtiyaçlarına cevap verebilen, temel eğitim, genel orta öğretim ve yüksek öğretim sistemleri ile bütünlük içerisinde, modern, esnek ve kaliteli bir mesleki eğitim sisteminin oluşturulmasına alt yapı sağlamayı hedefleyen proje 2002 yılından beri ülkemizde uygulanmaktadır. For a long time, Turkey has been trying to increase the quality of its working force and to develop its vocational education systems in order to increase the employment opportunities in all sectors of the economy. This struggle contributes to Turkey in competition among the most developed economies of the world, especially in the context of the European Union accession process. In this scope, Strengthening The Vocational Education and Training System in Turkey (SVET) has been signed between the government of the Turkish Republic and the European Union. The Project, which aims to provide a substructure for a vocational education system satisfying the needs of the labor market, consistent with the basic training, general secondary and tertiary education, modern, flexible and of good quality, has been in force in our country since 2002.
