Türkiye’deki papaver L. (papaveraceae) cinsi’nin miltantha bernh. seksiyonu üzerinde taksonomik ve polinolojik araştırmalar

Abstract

TÜRKİYE’DEKİ PAPAVER L. (Papaveraceae) CİNSİ’NİN MİLTANTHA SEKSİYONU ÜZERİNDE TAKSONOMİK VE PALİNOLOJİK ARAŞTIRMALAR Davis, P.H.’nin “Flora of Turkey and the East Aegean Islands” adlı eserinde 10 takson olarak belirtilen Papaver L. cinsinin Miltantha seksiyonu üyelerini Kederit 5 takson altında toplayarak Miltantha seksiyonu sistematiğine farklı bir yaklaşım getirmiştir. Bu farklılıktan yola çıkarak tez çalışmamızın kosunu, “Miltantha seksiyonu üyelerinin polenleri açısından incelenmesi ve varsa bu polenlerdeki farklılıkların sistematikteki etkisinin belirlenmesi” oluşturmuştur. Bu çalışmayı gerçekleştirmek için belirtilen 10 takson ait farklı bölgelerden toplanan örnekler İstanbul Üniversitesi Eczacılık Fakültesi Herbaryumundan alınarak polenlerinden Asetoliz ve Wodehouse yöntemleri ile preparatlar hazırlanmıştır. Hazırlanan preparatlardan polenin eni (E), boyu (P), ekzin tabakasının kalınlığı (Ex), intin tabakasının kalınlığı (in), colpusun eni (clt), colpusun boyu (clg) ve colpusların uçlarının kutuplarda oluşturduğu tepe üçgeninin kenarları (t) mikroskop altında 100X immersiyon objektifleri ile mikrometrik oküler aralıklarının sayılmasıyla ölçülmüştür. Preparatı hazırlanan örneklerin, internetten indirilmiş herbaryum resimleri, ölçümü yapılan polenlerin mikroskobik görüntüleri ve yapılan ölçümlerin bulguları tablo halinde verilmiştir. Ayrıca tezde Papaveraceae familyasının genel özellikleri, Türkiye’de yetişen Papaver türlerinin tayin anahtarı, Papaver L. cinsinin Miltantha seksiyonu üyelerinin Türkiye’de ki yayılış alanları verilmiş ve Papaveraceae familyasının tıbbi önemine değinilmiştir. Kederit’e göre; P. armeniacum (L.) DC subsp. armeniacum(L.) DC [P. fugax Poiret, P. triniifolium Boiss, P. cylindricum Cullen]; P. curviscapum Nabelek; P. libanaticum Boiss. subsp. polychaetum(Schott& Kotchy)Kedereit [P. polychaetum Schott& Kotschy];subsp. persicum Lindl [syn. subsp. fuluum Kit Ton & Sorger, P. acrochaetum Bornm]; P. persicum Lindl subsp. tauricolium[syn. P. tauricola Boiss] şeklinde 5 takson altında toplanan Miltantha seksiyonu üyeleri üzerinde yapılan palinolojik araştırmalar sonucunda birbirine yakın olan bu türler arasındaki bazı farklar ortaya konmuştur. Özellikle Kederit tarafından aynı tür altında toplanan P. fugax Poiret, P. triniifolium Boiss ve P. cylindricum Cullen türlerinin farklı bölgelerde toplanan örnekler de dahil, polen kısımlarının ölçülerindeki biraz daha belirgin farklılıklar ayırt edilmiştir. Dolayısıyla bu bulgular, P.H.Davis ve Kederit tarafından farklı şekilde yapılan Papaver L. cinsinin sistematiğine doğrudan bir ışık tutmasa bile polenlerin bu sistematikteki rolu hakkında çalışmalara fikir verecektir.

A TAXONOMIC AND PALINOLOGICAL RESEARCH ON MİLTANTHA SECTION OF SPECIES OF PAPAVER L. (Papaveraceae) IN TURKEY By Kederit, classification of the members of Miltantha section of Papaver L. species defined as 5 different species of which had once been classified as 8 species by Davis, P. H. in the article “Flora of Turkey and East Aegean Islands”, initiated a new research in the history of botany. The main purpose of this thesis, an analyse of the members of Miltantha section through their pollens and to identify the real amount of species by exposing the differences between them. In order to do this study, by considering the different spread area, preparats were prepared by Asetolyse and Wadehouse methods from the pollen samples taken from the University of İstanbul Herbarium. Of the prepared preparats pollen’s width (E), height (P), thickness of the exine layer (Ex), thickness of the intin layer (in), width of the colpus (clt), height of the colpus (clg), sides of the vertex triangle (t) formed by the colpus ends at the poles, measured by 100X immersion objectives via counting the micrometric ocular intervals. Samples’ pressed pictures of preparats being prepared, when taken from the herbarium; the microscopic visions and tableaux measurements’ results of pollens being measured were demonstrated. In addition, in the thesis general features of Papaveraceae family, assignement key of Papaver L. Species and spread area in Turkey were discussed. Medical importance of Papaveraceae family was also discussed together with the whole study. As a result of this study, distinguishing features of closey related members of the Miltantha section being defined as 5 different species by Kederit P. armeniacum (L.)DC subsp. armeniacum(L.)DC [P. fugax Poiret, P. triniifolium Boiss, P. cylindricum Cullen]; P. curviscapum Nabelek; P. libanaticum Boiss. subsp. polychaetum(Schott& Kotchy)Kedereit [P. polychaetum Schott& Kotschy];subsp. persicum Lindl [syn. subsp. fuluum Kit Ton & Sorger, P. acrochaetum Bornm]; P. persicum Lindl subsp. tauricolium[syn. P. tauricola Boiss],were exposed via palynological research on the them. Especially of P. fugax, P. tiniifolium and P.cylidricum, which were defined as the same species by Kederit, including the samples gathered from the different areas, apparent differences in the dimensions of pollen parts were identified. These results are hoped to illuminate the confusion about the systematic of Papaver L. Species.
