Kur’an hafızlığı ve müslümanın dini hayatındaki önemi

Abstract

Kur’ân-ı Kerîm’in baştan sona bütün sûrelerini ezberlemek demek olan hâfızlık, çok şerefli bir mertebedir. “Sizin en hayırlınız Kur’ân’ı öğrenen ve öğretenlerinizdir.” hadîsine uyularak başlayan hâfızlık, Peygamber Efendimiz (s.a.s.) zamanından günümüze kadar devam edegelmiş bulunmaktadır. İşte Peygamber (s.a.s.)’in bu güzel tavsiyesine hemen ve sürekli bir şekilde uyulduğu için, İslâm âleminin her köşesinde Kur’ân ezberleyen hâfızların sayısı her geçen gün artmıştır. Osmanlı döneminde hâfızlık çalışmalarına çok büyük önem verilmiş ve sırf bu iş için Dâru’l-Huffâz ve Dâru’l-Kurrâ adında özel müesseseler kurulmuştur. Hâlen ülkemizde de çok şerefli olan bu hizmeti yaptırılmaya devam edilmektedir. Hâfızlık gerçekten yaşatılması gereken mühim bir müessesedir. Kur’ân-ı ezberleyen hâfızlar ayetleri saklayan yazılı malzeme ya da her türlü kayıt malzemesinden bütünüyle farklı değerlerdir. Onlar, İslâm’ın ruhu ile de yüklüdürler ve onlar, âyetler ile sûreler arasındaki gerekli ilişkileri kurup, icap ettiğinde canlı olarak tekrarlayabilen yegâne değerlerimizdirler. Ezberlemiş oldukları Kur’an onların ferdî ve toplumsal hayatta birçok açıdan da öne çıkmalarına vesile olmuştur. Yaklaşık on dört buçuk yüzyıl boyunca olduğu gibi bundan böyle de yine onlar; “Kur’ân’ın canlı şahitleri” olarak nesillerden nesillere İslâm’ı aktaracaklardır.Being a hafiz, that means to memorize all of the Quran, is a very honourable degree. Being a hafiz, has begun because of the hadith of the Prophet Muhammed “The most beneficious of you is the one who learns and teaches Quran.” and it still continues.In Islamic community, the number of hafizes increases day by day because of that advice of the Prophet. In the Ottoman period, training of being a hafız had been attached too much importance and nothing but for that specific institutions, like Dâru’l-Huffâz and Dâru’l-Kurrâ had established. In our country that honourable duty stil continues. Being a hafiz, is really an important profession that has to be kept alive. The hafizes are completely different from any written documents or recording devices of the Quran. Because they have filled with the soul of Islam and they can make contact between suras and the verses of the Quran and they are the only ones who can repeat them alive when it is necessary. That profession has caused them to come into prominence in personal and public life. For 1450 years , they have transmitted Islam from generation to genaration and they will continue to transmit it as “Live witnesses of the Quran”.
