Publication: Osmanlı döneminde Mısırdaki Arap halk şiiri olgusu ve gelişimi
Abstract
Arap dünyasında Osmanlı dönemi hakkında söylenen Arap edebiyatının gelişmediği ve hatta çöktüğü söylentileri mevcuttur. Söz konusu dönem için ortaya atılan bu fikirler, Osmanlı dönemi hakkında yapılan kapsamlı çalışmalara kadar olan süreçte oldukça yayılmıştır. Osmanlı dönemi hakkında Modern Arap edebiyatı dünyasında yerleşmiş olan bu düşünceler, edebiyat çevrelerinin yazdıkları edebi ve bilimsel eserlerle de halka aktarılmıştır. Son yıllarda söz konusu dönemi kapsayan Arap edebiyatı üzerine yapılmış bazı çalışmalar döneme farklı bir açıdan bakmaya çalışmıştır. Bu çalışma da son dönem çalışmalarına binaen, Osmanlı döneminde özellikle Mısır bölgesindeki halk şiirini konu edinmiştir. Arap halk şiiri Endülüs ve Abbasi dönemi ile birlikte ortaya çıkmasından dolayı daha yenidir. Bu sebeple bu şiirdeki gelişim aynı zamanda Osmanlı dönemindeki gelişime ispat olabileceğinden ayrı bir önem taşımaktadır. Memlükler döneminde gelişim gösterip Osmanlı döneminde de bu gelişimini sürdürmüştür. Birçok şair tarafından bu türlerle her alanda eserler verilmiştir.
In general, there are rumors in the Arab world that Arabic literature did not develop and even collapsed during the Ottoman Empire. These ideas about the era in question extended throughout the process leading up to a comprehensive study of the Ottoman period. Accordingly, the considerations about the Ottoman period that have become entrenched in the world of modern Arabic literature were conveyed to the public by literary and scholarly works from the literary world. In recent years, several studies of Arabic literature during the Ottoman period have attempted to look at this period from different aspects. Based on these recent studies, the thesis focuses on folk poetry in the Ottoman period, especially in the Egyptian region. For this reason, the development in this poem is also important as it can be a proof of the development in the Ottoman Period. This Arabic Folk Poetry developed in the Mamluk Period and continued the development in the the Ottoman period. Many poets have used these genres to publish works in all fields.
