Abstract
Bilişim teknolojilerindeki gelişmeler, bireyleri dijital kültürün üyesi olmaya zorlamıştır. Özellikle 20.yüzyılın son çeyreğinden itibaren artan elektronik ortam kullanımı, vatandaşlık bilincine sahip bireyleri dijitalvatandaş kavramına doğru dönüştürmektedir. Bu çalışma, Marmara Üniversitesi Bilgi ve Belge Yönetimi bölümüöğrencilerinin dijital vatandaşlık algısını ölçmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Dijital vatandaşlığın 8 faktörü (dijitalokuryazarlık, dijital ticaret, dijital etik, dijital iletişim, dijital erişim, dijital sağlık, dijital güvenlik ve dijital hukuk)temel alınarak yapılan çalışmada, lisans programında kayıtlı tüm öğrencilere (267) e-posta yolu ile çevrimiçianket gönderilmiş ve anketi cevaplayan 174 öğrenciden alınan veriler ile istatistiki analizler gerçekleştirilmiştir.Analiz sonuçlarına göre öğrencilerin, dijital vatandaşlığın gereklerinden olan dijital okuryazarlık, dijital ticaret,dijital etik, dijital iletişim, dijital erişim, dijital güvenlik ve dijital hukuk kavramlarını benimsemiş olduklarıgörülmüş, fakat dijital sağlık faktörünü dikkate almadıkları anlaşılmıştır.
Developments in information technologies have forced individuals to become members of digital culture. The use of electronic media, especially since the last quarter of the 20th century, has transformed individuals with citizenship awareness into the concept of digital citizens. This study was conducted to measure the perception of digital citizenship of Marmara University, Department of Information and Record Management students. In the study, based on eight factors of digital citizenship (digital literacy, digital commerce, digital ethics, digital communication, digital access, digital health, digital security and digital law), an online survey was sent to 267 all students (267) who are enrolled undergraduate programme via e-mail and statistical analyses was performed with data from 174 students who answered the questionnaire. According to the results of the analysis, it was seen that students adopted the concepts of digital literacy, digital commerce, digital ethics, digital communication, digital access, digital security and digital law, which are the requirements of digital citizenship, however they did not consider the digital health factor.
