Abstract
16. YÜZYIL ŞÂRİHLERİNDEN SÛDÎ-İ BOSNEVÎ VE ŞERH-İ GÜLİSTÂN’I YILMAZ, Ozan yat Araştırmaları Enstitüsü Tez Yöneticisi: Prof. Dr. Nihat ÖZTOPRAK Sûdî’nin Gülistân Şerhi, İranlı meşhur müellif Sa‘dî-i Şirazî’nin Gülistân isimli eserini şerh etmek amacıyla kaleme alınmış bir metindir. Eser 16. yüzyıla damgasını vuran şerh faaliyetleri içerisinde ilk sırada gelir. Sûdî, Gülistân’ı parça parça şerh ederken, kelimelerin lügat anlamlarını vermiş, gramer özelliklerine değinmiş, edebî sanatlar hakkında değerlendirmelerde bulunmuştur. Tezimizin ilk kısmında “Şerh ve Şerh Edebiyatı, Sa‘dî, Gülistân, Sûdî’nin hayatı ve eserleri” hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Hemen akabinde Sûdî’nin metni transkribe edilerek Latin harflerine aktarılmış, içerisindeki edebî ve kültürel malzeme “Şerh” ve “Şarih” adlı iki genel başlık altında incelenmiştir. “Şerh” başlığı içerisinde metnin muhteviyatı ele alınmış, “Şarih” başlığıyla ise şarihin şerh metodunun ortaya konulması amaçlanmıştır. ONE OF 16TH CENTURY COMMENTATORS SUDÎ-I BOSNEVÎ AND HIS SHARH OF GULISTAN (ANALYSIS-CRITICIZED TEXT) Ozan YILMAZ Doctorate thesis: The Institute of Turkiyat Researchs Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Nihat ÖZTOPRAK Sûdî’s Sharh of Gulistân is a commentary on well-known Iranian author Sa‘dî’s Gulistân. This work is considered one of the most important sharh (commentary) activities in the 16th century. In his “sharh” Sûdî gives us the lexical meanings of the words, provides their grammatical features, and also touches upon the literary arts in prose. Accordingly, this dissertion project begins with information about “Sharh and Sharh Literature, Sa‘dî, Gulistân, Sudî’s life and his works”. The following section includes Sudî’s Sharh of Gulistan which is transcripted into Latin alphabet and finally literary and cultural aspects of the work have been analyzed under the headings of “Sharh (commentary)” and “Sharih (commentator)”. The content of the text has been studied under the heading of “Sharh” where Sharih section includes analysis of Sudî’s sharh method. Consequently, the place and importance of Sûdî’s Sharh of Gulistân in Turkish literature have been discussed in detail.
