Yüzyılda yaşayan Kınalızâde Ali Efendi'nin (d.1510/ 0.1574) en değerli ve en çok bilinen eseri Ahlak-ı Alâi, ilk Türkçe ahlak kitabıdır. Konu seçiminde eserin, gerek Osmanlı gerekse de Cumhuriyet döneminde çok okunması, tanınması ve sosyal hayata tesirleri etkili olmuştur. Ahlâk- ı Alâî’nin bugüne kadar gerek yurt içinde gerekse yurt dışında yüz elliye yakın nüshası hazırlanmış, ilk defa olarak da 18337te Mısır Hidîvi Mehmet Ali Paşa'nın emriyle Bulakta matbu olarak basılmıştır. Eser üzerinde günümüze kadar yüksek lisans ve doktora seviyesinde birçok akademik çalışma yapılmıştır. İslam Tarihi alanında ise daha önce çalışma kayda değer bir çalışma yapılmamış olup bu boşluğun doldurulması amaçlanmıştır. Müellifimiz eserini üç bölüm halinde hazırlamıştır. Birinci bölümde ahlak ilmini, ikinci bölümde aile ahlakı da diyebileceğimiz ev ekonomisi ilmini, üçüncü bölümde ise siyaset ilmini ele almıştır. Biz de çalışmamızı, bir girişle beraber iki bölüm halinde ele aldık. Giriş kısmında, Kınalızâde'nin hayatı ve eserleri hakkında bilgi vermeye çalıştık. Birinci bölümde, aile ahlakının tanımını yaptık. Kaynaklarını ele aldıktan sonra İslam diniyle beraber diğer semavi dinlerde aile ve eski toplumlarla beraber Osmanlıda aile konularını işledik. FAMILY IN AHLÂK-I ALÂI Ahlâk-i Alâi is the first Turkish book on morals which is the most precious and most known work of Kınalızâde Ali Efendi (b. 1510 / d. 1574), who lived in the 16 century that is the most mighty period of the Ottoman Empire. Being popular in both Ottoman and Republic periods and having influences on the social life are main reasons for selecting the work as the subject matter. Ahlâk-i Alâî which has one hundred and fifty manuscript copies issued so far, had been press printed for the first time in 1833 in Bulak by order of Mehmet Ali Pasha, the khedive of Eghypt. Although a large number of postgraduate and doctorate level studies have been conducted on the work until now, there aren't any remarkable studies on the work in the field of History of Islam and therefore it's aimed to fill that gap with this study. The author prepared his work in three chapters. In the first chapter, he deals with the science of morality, he deals with the science of home economics (in other words, family morals) in the second chapter and science of politics in the third chapter. Our work has been prepared in two parts with an introduction. We aimed to provide information on the life and works of Kınalızâde in the introduction. We defined the family morals in the first part. After dealing with the sources, we discussed the family in the Abrahamic religions along with Islam and the family in the old societies along with Ottomans. In the second part, we discussed the family according to Kınalızâde Ali Efendi with explanations and additions under ten subtitles.
