Genç Yetişkinlerde Sosyal Zekanın Yordayıcısı Olarak Affedicilik ve Benlik Saygısı

Abstract

Bu çalışma 20-35 yaş arası genç yetişkin bireylerin affedicilik ve benlik saygısı düzeyleri ilesosyal zekâ düzeyi arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Yapılan çalışmada,yordayıcı korelasyonel araştırma modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu İstanbul'unfarklı ilçelerinde yaşayan 178 (%54,1) kadın ve 151 (%45,9) erkek olmak üzere toplam 329 gençyetişkin birey oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Affedicilik Ölçeği,Rosenberg Benlik Saygısı Ölçeği, Tromso Sosyal Zekâ Ölçeği ve Kişisel Bilgi Formukullanılmıştır. Çalışma grubundan toplanan veriler SPSS 20 programı ile analiz edilmiş ve çokludoğrusal regresyon ve pearson korelasyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Fark analizi sonuçlarına göreaffedicilik, benlik saygısı ve sosyal zekâ düzeylerinin cinsiyet değişkenine göre değişmediğibulunmuştur. Yapılan çoklu regresyon analizi sonucuna göre affedicilik ve benlik saygısıdeğişkenlerinin sosyal zekânın yordayıcısı olduğu bulunmuştur.The aim of this study is to examine the correlation between forgivingness level, self esteem level_x000D_ and social intelligence level of adults. In this research predictive correlational model was used. In_x000D_ this regard, 178 female volunteers (%54,1) and 151 male volunteers (%45,9), totally 329 adult_x000D_ participatedliving in different districts of Istanbul in the study. The data were collected with_x000D_ Forgivingness Scale, Rosenberg Self Esteem Scale and Tromso Social Intelligence Scale. In data_x000D_ analysis SPSS 20 Program was used and pearson correlation, multiple regression analyses were_x000D_ applied. According to the results of the difference analysis, forgiveness, self-esteem and social_x000D_ intelligence levels did not change according to gender. According to the results of study self_x000D_ esteem and forgivingness were found to be predictors of social intelligence.
