Retinitis Pigmentosaya Bağlı Kistoid Maküla Ödeminde Tedavi

Abstract

Retinitis Pigmentosaya ikincil kistoid makula ödemi gelişen üç olgunun dört gözüne uygulanan farklı tedavilerden sonra düzeltilmiş en iyigörme keskinliği ve optik koherens tomografi (RTVue-100 version 5.1 Fourier-domain optical coherence tomography; Optovue Inc., Fremont,CA, USA) bulguları incelenmiştir. Tüm olgularda an az 6 ay boyunca asetazolamid ilk basamak tedavi olarak kullanıldı, ancak hiçbir hastadaen iyi düzeltilmiş görme keskinliği artışı ya da santral fovea kalınlığı azalması gözlenmedi. İkinci basamak tedavi seçeneği olarak vitre içineranibizumab tedavisi uygulandı ancak bu tedaviyle de hiçbir hastada faydalı etkiler gözlenmedi. Diğer yandan vitre içine deksametazon implantasyonu uygulamasından sonra iki olguda santral fovea kalınlığı azalması gözlendi. Vitrektomi uygulanan tek olguda da görme artışı vesantral fovea kalınlığı azalması gözlendi.

The best corrected visual acuity and optical coherence tomography (RTVue-100 version 5.1 Fourier-domain optical coherence tomography; Optovue Inc., Fremont, CA, USA) results were investigated in four eyes of three cases with cystoid macular edema secondary to retinitis pigmentosa. In all patients acetazolamide was used as fi rst line therapy, but non of the patients had an improvement in best corrected visual acuity or central foveal thickness. As second line therapy intravitreal ranibizumab was used, but no benefi ciary effects were observed with this treatment also. On the other hand after intravitreal dexamethasone implantation in two patients central foveal thickness decrease were observed. The single case who underwent vitrectomy also had visual improvement and central foveal thickness decrease.
