Sivas tereke defterlerinden hareketle Sivas'ta Seyyidlerin sosyo-ekonomik hayatı (1825-1850 yılları)

Abstract

Bu tez çalışmasında, hicrî 1241-1251 (milâdî 1825-1851) yıllarına ait Sivas Şerʻiyye Sicilleri'nden hareketle Seyyidler'in tereke kayıtları Yeni Türk Harfleri'ne çevrilmiş ve Seyyidler'in sosyo-ekonomik durumları incelenmiştir. Çalışmamız bir giriş, iki bölüm, sonuç ve ek bölümünden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde Seyyidler ve nakîbü'l-eşrâflıklık hakkında verilmiştir. Birinci bölümünde Şerʻiyye Sicilleri, miras ve Sivas hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde terekelerde Seyyidler'in sosyal ve iktisadi durumları detaylı şekilde incelenmiş, Seyyidler'in sahip oldukları menkûl ve gayr-ı menkûl malları, unvan ve meslekleri, varisleri tek tek tespit edilmiş ve bu konular üzerinde değerlendirmelerde bulunulmuştur. Sonuç bölümünde çalışmayla ilgili genel bir değerlendirilmede bulunulmuş ve çalışmayla ilgili nasıl bir sonuç elde edildiği ortaya konmuştur. Ek bölümünde tereke kayıtlarının günümüz Türkçe harflerine çevrilmesi yer almaktadır. Seyyid, tereke, Sivas, eşya.

In this thesis, the probate records of Sayyids have been translated into Latin Turkish and their socio-economic status-quo have been stadied with reference to Sivas court records between 1825-1851 A.D. (1232-1268 of the Hegira). Our study have been composed of introduction, two chapters and conclusion and an appendix. In the introduction part, has been given about Sayyids and chiefs of the prophet's descendants. In the first chapter related knowledge has been given about the probate records, inheritance and Sivas itself. In the second chapter the social and economic conditions of sayyids have been investigated in detail, and their properties, positions and profesions and heirs have been separately studied and evaluated. In the conclusion, a general evaluation has been conducted and the results found on the study have been exhibited.
