Adli Muhasebe ve Bağımsız Denetim Sürecine Etkisi

Abstract

İşletmelerde çeşitli şekillerde yapılan muhasebe hileleri büyük ekonomik kayıplara yol açmaktadır. Bu kayıpların önlenebilmesi muhasebenin kapsamının genişlemesine neden olmuş ve “adli muhasebe” mesleğinin doğmasına sebebiyet vermiştir. Küreselleşme ile birlikte adli muhasebe uygulamalarına ihtiyaç daha da artmaktadır. Dünyada yaşanan birçok finansal skandallarla birlikte hilelerin önlenmesi ve tespiti artık önemli hale gelmiştir. Yetersiz kalan muhasebe denetimi sonucu adli muhasebe uygulamaları ihtiyaç haline gelmiştir. Özellikle Amerika Birleşik Devletleri ve Kanada’da uygulanmakta olan adli muhasebe hizmetleri, mali anlaşmazlıklar içeren adli konularda muhasebe, denetim ve analitik incelemelerden yararlanarak mahkemelere ve avukatlara destek sağlamaktadır. Adli Muhasebecilik, gelişmiş ülkelerde yaygın uygulama alanı bulmaktadır. Adli uyuşmazlıklarda, muhasebeden, denetlemeden ve araştırma yeteneklerinden faydalanmayı ifade eder. Adli muhasebe uygulamalarıyla davalara destek verme, işletmelerde hilelerin tespiti ve ortaya çıkarılması, uzman tanıklık hizmetleri verilmektedir. Adli muhasebe uygulamalarında birçok farklı bilim ve disiplinden yararlanılarak mahkemeye intikal etmiş konuların çözümü aranmaktadır. Türkiye’de uygulanmakta olan bilirkişilik sisteminin eksiklikleri ve bu eksikliklerin adli muhasebe hizmetiyle çözümüne değinilmiştir.Accounting frauds made in various forms in businesses lead to great economic losses. Forensic accounting applications are being sought through the use of a lot of science to solve the issues that have been brought to court. The deficiencies of the expertise system in Turkey and the solution of these deficiencies by judicial accounting service are mentioned.
