Mehmet Rauf'un eserlerinde kadın

Abstract

Tüm dünyada özellikle 1950 sonrasında kadın çalışmaları bir bilim dalı hâline gelmiş ve her alanda kadının yeri ile ilgili kuramsal çalışmalar yapılmaya başlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada ülkemizde de önem kazanmaya başlayan kadın çalışmalarının temel öznesi olan kadın ve kadınlık kavramları Servet-i Fünûn Dönemi Türk Edebiyatının önemli yazarlarından Mehmet Rauf’un roman, hikâye ve tiyatrolarında tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır.Çalışmamız üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde Mehmet Rauf’un hayatı ve eserleri hakkında kısaca bilgi verildikten sonra birinci bölümde on beş romanı, ikinci bölümde kitaplaşmış hikâyeleri ve kitaplara girmemiş diğer hikâyeleri, üçüncü bölümde beş telif piyesi (tiyatro oyunları) kadın merkezli olacak şekilde belirlenen aşk, evlilik, hastalık, çocuk sevgisi, ihanet, kadın eğitimi, moda, maddiyat, cinsellik, eğlence anlayışı, kadın sorunları gibi on üç tema ekseninde incelenmiştir. Erkek yazar ve erkek anlatıcının egemen söyleminde kadının toplumdaki yeri tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır.

In the whole world, especially after 1950, women studies have become a scientific discipline and in each field the theoretical studies about the place of woman started to be done. In this theses, the concepts of women and womanhood, which are the main subjects of women studies that have begun to gain importance in our country nowadays, have been examined in the novels, stories and plays of Mehmet Rauf who is the one of the important authors of the Servet-i Fünûn Period Turkish Literature. Our work consists of three parts. After briefly informing Mehmet Rauf’s life and works, in the first part Mehmet Rauf's fifteen novels, in the second part twelve story books and other stories that not entered into the books and in the third part five original theater plays were discussed on the axis of the women-centered themes such as love, marriage, illness, mother and child relationship, infidelity, education, fashion, sexuality, entertainment and etc. In the dominant discourse of male writer and male narrator, we tried to determine the place of woman in society.
