İlaveli Mecmua-İ Cedide ve dönemin yeni meselelerinin fıkhî açıdan değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Osmanlı Devleti’nin modernleşme dönemini temsil eden ve meşihat tarafından yayınlanan İlaveli Mecmua-i Cedide daha önce müstakil bir çalışmaya konu olmamıştır. Bu çalışmada İlaveli Mecmua-i Cedide içerik ve biçimsel özellikler bakımından ayrıntılı bir şekilde tanıtılmış, eserde fetvası yer alan şeyhülislamlar tespit edilmiş ve bu şeyhülislamlar hakkında biyografik bilgiler verilmiştir. Ayrıca eserde yer alan ve modernleşme dönemini temsil eder nitelikte olan bazı fetvalar, bu konular hakkında yazılmış bir takım makale ve risaleler çerçevesinde ele alınmıştır. İlaveli Mecmua-i Cedide is a fatwa book published by the Ottoman Fetvahane and represents the modernization period of the Ottoman Empire. Despite its significance, it has not been studied separately. This study introduces İlaveli Mecmua-i Cedide, its content and features in a detailed way, identifies the Shaykh al-Islams whose fatwas are included in the book, and gives biographical information about these Shaykh al-Islams. Moreover, some fatwas from the book that represent the modernization period are examined with the help of some articles and treatises written in the same years. Thus, the way legal problems are handled in the late Ottoman period is examined, and the social aspect of these legal problems is emphasized. laveli Mecmua-i Cedide, Ottoman Empire, Modernization, Ottoman Fatwa Literature
