Sıra bekleme sistemlerine benzetim tekniği yaklaşımı ve bir hastane uygulaması

Abstract

Yöneylem Araştırması işletmelerin karşılaştığı problemleri bütünsel bir yaklaşımla ele alan ve bilimsel teknikler kullanarak çözüm arayan, uygulama alanı her geçen gün daha da genişleyen bir yönetim bilimidir. Sıra Bekleme Sistemlerine Benzetim Tekniği Yaklaşımı ve Bir Hastane Uygulaması adlı bu çalışmada Yöneylem Araştırması bir bilim olarak ele alınmış temel olasılık ve istatistik bilgileri gözden geçirildikten sonra Kuyruk Teorisi ve Simülasyon teknikleri ayrıntılı bir şekilde ele alınmıştır. Sıra bekleme sistemleri olarak da bilinen Kuyruk teorisinin uygulanması diğer tekniklere oranla daha zordur. Ancak her işletmenin küçük veya büyük kuyruk problemleri bulunmaktadır. Sözü edilen işletmelerin problemlerinin modellenmesi bazen çok karmaşık olabileceği gibi, kurulan modelin analitik çözümü de bazen güç olabilir, bazen de hiç mümkün olmayabilir. Bu durumda simülasyon tekniği önemli bir model kurma ve çözme tekniği olabilir. Ülkemizde çok yaygın bir olgu olan kuyruk probleminin ele alınması amacıyla Siirt Devlet Hastanesinde 10 gün süreyle hasta gelişleri gözlemlenmiş ve Dahiliye, Göz, Çocuk, Kadın Doğum, Genel Cerrahi ve Diş bölümlerine ait servis süreleri kaydedilmiştir. Toplanan verilerin hangi dağılıma uyduğunu tespit etmek amacıyla Khi kare ve Kolmogorov-Smirnov uygunluk testleri yapılmış ve ilgili parametre değerleri ayrı ayrı bulunmuştur. Elde edilen bilgiler yardımıyla problemin bilgisayar modeli kurulmuş ve problemin çözümüne ilişkin alternatif hareket tarzları belirlenmiştir. Bu çalışmada optimum bir karara varmaktan ziyade hastane yönetiminin alacağı kararlarda, karar destek görevi görecek, genel bir bakış açısı sağlayacak

bilgiler sunmak amaçlanmıştır. SUMMARY Operational Research is a management science that deals with the problems which establishments encounter. It searches for solutions by using, scientific techniques and the application field of it expands day by day. In this paper Sıra Bekleme Sistemlerine Benzetim Tekniği Yaklaşımı ve Bir Hastane Uygulaması, after its basic probability and the statistical information are looked over, Queueing Theory and the Simulation techniques are studied as a work of science in a detailed manner like the Operational Research itself. The queueing theory, known also as the waiting line systems is difficult on the prospect of application compared to other management techniques. But every establishment maye have either small or big queueing problems. The modelling of the problems that establishment encounter may be complex as usual, like the analitic solution of the new set up model or may never work. In this situation, the simulation techniques may be used as a significant solution and modelling technique. In Turkey, at Siirt devlet Hastanesi, relating with the queueing problem, the patient arrivals and service periods in the Eye, Pediatry, Gynaecoloqy, Dental, Surgery and Internal services were observed in the duration of 10 days. To find out which distribution the datas fit, Chi squared, Kolmogorov-Smirnov goodness of fit tests were applied and the related parameter values were seperately calculated. With the support of the datas got, the computer model of the problem was set up and the alternative ways of action concerning the solution of the problem were determined. In this paper, I have aimed to present summary statistics that would act as decision-support function and would provide a general outlook over the decisions that the hospital management would make.
