Abstract
A relatively recent phenomena, social entrepreneurship has enormous potential for social and economic change, reduces inequality, and fosters social relationships. Despite the fact that this kind of activity and the associated infrastructure are still developing in Morocco, several initiatives have surfaced as a result of social entrepreneurs working in this field. It's not just about starting successful social enterprises with ethical objectives; it's also about cultivating the entrepreneurial spirit and motivating young people, especially women, to come up with novel solutions to the problems and difficulties they meet on a daily basis. The survey was conducted with Moroccan social entrepreneurs and stakeholders to assess the effectiveness of social entrepreneurship on sustainable development. The survey included questions about the problems and the target addressed by the projects, the effects of the projects on the issues they were attempting to solve, success measures and completion rates, and the difficulties and opportunities for collaboration. The survey also covered the financing, transparency, and profitability of the projects. The findings showed that social entrepreneurship has a positive influence on sustainable development in Morocco, as the social and environmental influences of the enterprises and their contributions to economic growth. The results also identified key challenges and opportunities for social entrepreneurship in Morocco, including access to finance, regulatory barriers, and limited awareness of the concept. Based on these findings, the study recommends that policy makers and practitioners in Morocco consider promoting social entrepreneurship as a strategy to support sustainable development and address pressing challenges such as poverty, unemployment, and environmental degradation.
