Publication: Fatih Sultan Mehmed’e ithaflı beş yazma eserin bezeme analizi
Abstract
FATİH SULTAN MEHMED’E İTHAFLI BEŞ YAZMA ESERİN BEZEME ANALİZİ Bu Fatih Sultan Mehmed’in saltanat yıllarında bizzat padişaha sunulmuş olan ve Süleymaniye Kütüphanesi’nde yer alan, farklı konulardan, az hasar görmüş ve dönemin tezhip sanatının özelliklerini en iyi şekilde yansıttığını düşündüğümüz beş yazma eserin (Damat İbrahim Paşa 00826, Fazıl Ahmed Paşa 00960, Nuruosmaniye 02653, Şehzade Mehmet 00067, Yeni Cami 00335) ciltleri ve tezhipleri esas alınarak hazırlanmıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Fatih döneminin tezhip üslubunun net biçimde anlaşılabilmesi için farklı alanlarda uzman kişilerin oluşturduğu bir ekiple uzun yıllar sürecek, yerli ve yabancı neredeyse tüm müze ve kütüphane kataloglarının taranıp, döneme ait yazma eserlerinin fotoğraflanarak kataloglaması gibi çok geniş çaplı bir çalışmanın bilgi birikimine katkıda bulunmaktır. Ayrıca yenilikçi bir analiz yöntemi ile kendinden sonraki çalışmalara güncel bir yol açacak olması da amaçlanmıştır. Seçilmiş olan beş yazma eser yüksek çözünürlüklü görüntü alabilen makine aracılığıyla fotoğraflanmış, bezeme alanları sayfa düzeni, form, kompozisyon, motif ve renk açısından irdelenmiş, daha sonra bugünün imkânlarından yararlanılarak tamamen teknolojik ortamlarda tarafımdan analiz çizimleri yapılmıştır. Bu çizimler tablette Autodesk Sketchbook Professional programında kalem girişi desteğiyle, düzenlemeler ise Adobe Photoshop CC programında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Böylece eski sistemde yapılan desen analizlerine göre daha detaylı, düzenli, tutarlı ve net analizler elde edilmiştir. Tamamlanan bezeme analizleri sonucunda yapılan tespitler sonuç kısmında maddeler ve örnekler halinde belirtilmiştir. Tezhip Sanatı, Fatih Sultan Mehmed, II. This master thesis which is called “The Ornament Analysis of Five Manuscripts Dedicated to Fatih Sultan Mehmed” has been prepared by being based on the covers and illuminations of five manuscripts. These five manuscripts were presented in person to Fatih Sultan Mehmed during his reign and today most of them are found in Süleymaniye Library. The manuscripts which have been slightly damaged include different subjects and we think they represent the characteristics of illumination art of the period in the best possible way. The aim of this master thesis is to contribute to accumulation of knowledge of an extensive study in order to get a clear understanding of illumination style during Fatih's period. This extensive study will last long with a team of experts in different fields and it includes cataloging and photograhping the manuscripts of the period by scanning the catalogs of almost all domestic and foreign museums and libraries. With its innovative method of analysis, this master thesis is also aimed to be a leading study for further researches in the field. These five manuscripts have been photographed by high definition cameras, they have been analyzed in terms of ornaments, page layout, form, composition, pattern and colour and then their analysis drawings have been made by me in technological environments with current facilities. Those drawings have been created within Autodesk Sketchbook Professional program with the support of digitizer pen and the editing has been made on Adobe Photoshop CC program. In this way, compared to pattern analyses made in the old system more detailed, ordinate, consistent and explicit analyses have been attained. In consequence of completed ornament analyses, the evaulation is remarked by articles and examples in conclusion part.
