Publication: Meslek ve anadolu meslek liselerinde öğrenci başarısını etkileyen faktörler
Abstract
Bu araştırmada meslek liselerinde öğrenim gören öğrencilerin akademik başarılarını etkileyen zihinsel ve zihinsel olmayan faktörler araştırılmıştır. Buna ilaveten yeni ÖSS sınav sisteminin meslek liselerine etkileri incelenmiştir. Araştırma 2000-2001 eğitim-öğretim yılında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu araştırma- ya Tuzla Anadolu Meslek ve Tuzla Meslek Lisesi'nde okuyan 245 1.sınıf öğrencisi katılmıştır. Öğrencilere uygulanan ankette, okul etkisi, aile etkisi, motivasyon, özlük-kişilik, arkadaşlık ilişkileri ile ilgili 77 soru sorulmuştur. Ayrıca öğrencilerin ilköğretim diploma notları ile matematik, fizik, kimya, biyoloji, tarih, coğrafya ve meslek derslerinden aldıkları notlar karşılaştırılmıştır. Verilerin toplanmasından sonra istatistiksel çözümlemeler yapılmıştır. Sonuç- ların istatistiksel analizi SPSS paket programındaki korelasyon ve ki-kare analizi kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Alınan sonuçlar şöyle ifade edilebilir: Aşağıdaki değişkenlerle akademik başarı arasında anlamlı ilişki bulunmuştur. - Öğrencilerin kendi başarıları hakkındaki düşünceleri - Öğrencilerin, öğretmenlerin branşlarındaki bilgileri hakkındaki düşünceleri - Öğrencilerin meslek derslerinin haftalık ders saat sayısı hakkındaki düşünceleri - Öğrencilerin fen derslerinin haftalık ders saat sayısı hakkındaki düşünceleri - Öğrencilerin derslerin işleniş metot ve yöntemi hakkındaki düşünceleri - Öğrencilerin üniversite okuma hakkındaki düşünceleri - ÖSS sınavının, öğrencilerin meslek lisesine olan ilgilerini etkileme düzeyi - Öğrencilerin ÖSS sınavı hakkındaki bilgileri - Babanın öğrenim durumu - Annenin öğrenim durumu - Öğrencilerin aileleri ile olan ilişkileri - Öğrencilerin başarısızlığı durumunda ailelerin kızması - Öğrencilerin yaşı - Ortaokul mezuniyet derecesi - Planlı ders çalışma - Verimli ders çalışma metotlarını kullanma - Yazılılarda heyecan ve endişe duyma
In this research, student who educated in vocational high school examined factors about interested and not intersted in mind which effect their academic achievement. In addition, effect of new ÖSS system on academic achievement in vocational high school is examined. Research has been executed during the 2000-2001 academic year. 245 students who are in 1th class have taken in Tuzla Vocational High School to this research. Students have been applied survey. Students have asked 77 questions which are about school effect , motivation, individuality, essential character, friendship, family effect. Additionally, secondary school diploma degree is compared with average of mathematics course and physics course and chemistry course and biology course and geography course and history course and vocational course. After collecting data, statistical analysis have been completed. statistical analysis of the results have been executed using correlation and kay-kare analysis that are in the SPSS packet programme. Results that have been obtained can be stated as follows: It was found that there are significant relationship between academic achievement and with the following variables; - Students' thinks about self-achievement - Students' thinks about branch knowledges of teachers - Students' thinks about lesson hour score of vocational courses for a week - Students' thinks about lesson hour of science courses for a week - Students' thinks about teaching method - Students' thinks about go on to university - Influence level of ÖSS examination to student's interest with vocational high school - Students' informations about ÖSS system - Father's educational level - Mother's educational level - Students' relationship with family - Parental attitudes - Students' ages - Secondary school diploma degree - Studying planned lesson - Using methods of studying fruitful lesson - Being anxious and geting excited in examination
