Abstract
Gönüllü İnsan Kaynaklarının Spor Organizasyonlarına Katılım Nedenleri ve Motivasyonel Faktörlerin İncelenmesi 2023 Avrupa Salon Atletizm Şampiyonası Öğrencinin Adı: Şenol GÜNEŞ Danışmanı: Dr. Öğretim Üyesi Serap AY Programın Adı: Spor Yönetim Bilimleri Yüksek Lisans Amaç: Bu çalışmada, Türkiye’de ilk defa 2-5 Mart 2023 tarihinde gerçekleştirilen Avrupa Salon Atletizm Şampiyonası’nda görev alan gönüllü insan kaynaklarının organizasyona katılım nedenleri ve motivasyonel faktörlerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmada literatür taraması yapılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak anket tekniği uygulanmıştır. Anket verileri SPSS programında analiz edilerek sonuçları tartışılmıştır. Çalışmada Avrupa Salon Atletizm Şampiyonası’nda görev alan gönüllülerin katılım nedenleri ve motivasyonel faktörlerini belirlemek için geliştirilen, “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” ile Sertbaş (2006) tarafından uyarlanan “Spor Gönüllüleri Motivasyon Ölçeği” uygulanmıştır. Organizasyonda görev alan gönüllülerin cinsiyet, yaş, spor gönüllülüğü tecrübeleri durumlarına yönelik frekans ve yüzde frekansları analiz edilip açıklanarak betimsel istatistikleri incelenmiştir. Bulgular: Organizasyonunda görev alan gönüllülerin cinsiyet, yaş, meslek, medeni durumları, spor gönüllülüğü tecrübeleri, atletizm branşına yönelik spor gönüllülüğü tecrübeleri, sigara içme durumları, Covid-19 geçirme durumları, yaşadıkları bölge veya iş yerine yakın alanlarda koşu veya yürüyüş yapma durumlarına yönelik frekans ve yüzde frekansları betimsel istatistikleri incelenmiştir. Ölçeğin güvenirlik analizleri yapılmış, skewness-kurtosis değerleri ile verilerin dağılımı incelenmiştir. Çeşitli değişkenlere göre gönüllülerin anket sorularına verdikleri cevaplara sergiledikleri bakışlarda anlamlı farklılıklarını araştırmak için; mann whitney-u ve kruskal wallis analizleri uygulanmıştır. Sonuç: Değişkenlere yönelik analizler sonucunda ise, sadece cinsiyet değişkeninde anlamlı farklılık elde edilmiştir. Erkek katılımcıların kadınlara nazaran spor gönüllülüğü motivasyonları daha yüksek olarak elde edilmiştir. Organizasyonda görev almış spor gönüllülerinin gönüllü motivasyonlarının ölçek alt boyut puan ortalamalarına bakıldığında; 4.47 ortalama ile “Boş Zaman Aktivitesi” faktörünün en yüksek ortalamada olduğu elde edilmiştir. Amaç faktörü alt boyutunun motivasyonu diğer faktörlere göre daha az etkilediği sonucu elde edilmiştir.
Reasons for Volunteer Human Resources to Participate in Sports Organizations and Analysis of Motivational Factors: 2023 European Indoor Athletics Championships Student Name: Şenol GÜNEŞ Name of Supervisor: Assistant Prof. Serap AY Program Name : Sports Management Sciences Master's Program Purpose of the Study: The primary aim of this study was to investigate the various factors that impact the engagement and motivation levels of volunteer human resources involved in the European Athletics Indoor Championships. The Championships were held in the country of Turkey from the 2nd to the 5th of March in the year 2023. The objective of the study was to examine these factors using multiple variables. Materials and Methods: The preliminary stage of the investigation entailed conducting an extensive examination of the currently existing scholarly literature. The researchers utilised the Questionnaire technique as a means of collecting data. In the third phase of the study, the survey data underwent analysis utilising the IBM SPSS software programme. The current investigation employed the Sports Volunteers Motivation Scale in conjunction with the Participant Information and Consent Form to evaluate the motives and factors that influence the participation of volunteers engaged in the 2023 European Athletics Indoor Championships. Results: In the study, the literature review was conducted. The Questionnaire technique was used as a data collection tool in the research. The survey data were analyzed by means of the IBM SPSS program and the results of the analyses were discussed. In this study, the “Sports Volunteers Motivation Scale”, adapted by Sertbaş (2006), were applied along with the “Participant Information and Consent Form”, which was designed to determine the reasons for participation and motivational factors of the volunteers who took part in the 2023 European Athletics Indoor Championships. The frequency and percentage frequencies of the volunteers who took part in the organization, based on the gender, age class, experience in sports volunteering, were analyzed and and descriptive statistics were interpreted. Conclusion: Variable analyses demonstrated a significant difference only in the gender variable. Motivation for sports volunteering of the male participants was found higher than female participants. Considering the scale sub-dimension average point of the sports volunteers’ motivations who took part in the organization; it was obtained that the Leisure Time Activity factor, with an average of 4.47, had the highest average.
