Abstract
MESLEK LİSESİ ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN DAVRANIŞLARINDA SOSYAL PAYLAŞIM SİTELERİNİN ÖZENDİRİCİ ETKİLERİ Çevresiyle etkileşim içinde olan ve ondan etkilenerek uyum sağlamaya çalışan bireyin günümüzde kurduğu ilişki ağlarından biride internet bağlantısı ile sağladıkları sosyal paylaşım siteleridir. Öğrenciler bu siteler sayesinde normalinden daha fazla sayıda ortak arkadaşla paylaşım içindedir. Fiziksel bir yapıya ve zamana bağlı olmaksızın her alanda ve konuda bireyler birbirini etkilemektedir. Kendine yeni bir kimlik oluşturma endişesinde olan öğrenciler ise hiç kuşkusuz en fazla etkilenen gruptur. Bu araştırmada teknolojiyi iyi kullanan meslek lisesi öğrencilerinin sosyal paylaşım sitelerinde olumlu ya da olumsuz nasıl bir etkileşim içinde oldukları, neler paylaştıkları ve bu paylaşımların onları nasıl motive ettiği üzerine durulmuştur. Yapılan araştırma, var olan bir durumu betimlediği için tarama modelindedir. Araştırma, 2011–2012 eğitim-öğretim yılında, İstanbul’un Kartal ilçesinde rastgele seçilmiş 6 farklı devlet lisesinin 9, 10, 11 ve 12. sınıflarında öğrenim gören, 15–18 yaşları arasındaki toplam 354 öğrenci üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerden elde edilen verilerin çözümlenmesinde SPSS istatistik kullanılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonucu; “cinsiyet”, “yaş”, “evinde bilgisayar ve internet olma durumu”, “herhangi bir sosyal paylaşım sitesine üye olma durumu”, “internette geçirdiği süre”, “ikametinin sosyoekonomik durumu”, “aile geliri” değişkenlerine göre; sosyal paylaşım ağlarına girme nedenleri; paylaşım sitelerinde ziyaret ettikleri sayfalarda nelerin dikkatlerini çektiği; kişilere ait fotoğraflarda nelerin dikkatlerini çektiği, Paylaşım sitelerinde nelerden etkilendikleri konularında farklılıklar görülmüştür. Bu bulgular incelendiğinde öğrencilerin çoğunun, evinde bilgisayar ve internetinin olduğu, en az bir sosyal paylaşım sitesine üye olduğu, sosyoekonomik olarak orta gelirli ailelerle birlikte yaşadıkları, asgari ücretin 700 TL olduğu dönemde kendi ailelerinin gelirini de 850-1250 TL olarak beyan ettikleri bulgularına ulaşılmıştır.
ABSTARCT ENCOURAGING EFFECTS OF SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES ON VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT’S BEHAVIORS Today, one of the environments where the individual is in interaction with is internet social networking sites provided by the internet. Through these sites, students are in communication with a large number of common friends. Without a physical structure and time dependence, individuals in all areas affect each other. Undoubtedly, the most affected group consists of the students who are concerned about creating a new identity for himself are. In this study, vocational high school students which are the best user of technology were focused. How students interact with social networking sites, what they share and how to motivate them to those shares were investigated. This research is a survey model due to the fact that it depicts the current situation. A total of 354 students between the ages of 15-18 , studying in 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th classes of randomly selected 6 different state high schools in Istanbul's Kartal district in the 2011-2012 academic year were investigated. SPSS statistical program was used to analyze the data obtained from the students participating in the study. As a result of the analysis; it was seen that there are differences about reasons for entering social networking, which pages the students visit in these social networking sites, the students’s pay attentions to the photopraphs belonging to someone, what effects the students in social networking sites according to the variables gender, age, status of having computer and internet at home, state of being a member of any social networking site, time spent on the internet, socio-economic status of the students’s residence, family income of the students. Findings of the research show that many of the students have a computer and internet service at home, members of at least one social networking site, live in middle-income families as socioeconomic status and have declared their family income as 850-1250 TL while the minimum wage is 700 TL .
