Publication: Kur'ân tercüme teknikleri açısından kader âyetlerinin seçme meâller kapsamında incelenmesi
Abstract
Kader konusu İslam tarihi boyunca üzerinde en çok tartışılan ancak herkesin kabul ettiği ortak bir sonuca ulaşılamayan konulardan biridir. Kur'ân-ı Kerîm'de kaderi doğrudan ya da dolaylı olarak konu alan çok sayıda âyetin olması Kur'ân'ı anlamada kader kavramının önemini ortaya koymaktadır. Her ekol Kur'ân'dan kendi görüşünü destekleyecek âyetleri seçmiş ve kendine uymayan kısımları tevil etmiştir. Bu nedenle kaderle ilişkilendirilen kavramların çalışma kapsamında incelenmesine karar verilmiş, günümüze kadar toplum tarafından ilgi görmüş ve araştırmacılar tarafından benimsenmiş meâller seçilerek araştırma kapsamı belirlenmiştir. Çalışmamızda farklı fikir ve görüşlere sahip meâl yazarlarının hayatları ve eserleri incelenerek farklılıkları ortaya koyulmaya çalışılmıştır. Aynı zamanda kader kapsamında ele alınan kader, kazâ, kalplerin mühürlenmesi, irâde, meşîet, hidâyet, dalâlet, ketebe, tâir ve izin kavramları açıklanmış ve bu kavramlarla ilgili âyetlerin, farklı görüşlere sahip meâl yazarları tarafından nasıl çevrildikleri incelenmiştir. Çeviri farklılıklarının sebepleri üzerinde durularak âyetin nasıl tercüme edilmesi gerektiğine gerekçeleriyle birlikte dikkat çekilmiştir. Âyetlerin çevirisinde yaşanılan problemlerin temel kaynağı meâl yazarlarının lafzî tercüme tekniğine bağlı kalmaları neticesinde, çevirinin yanlış anlaşılmasına hatta anlaşılamamasına neden olmasıdır.
The subject of fate is one of the most debated topics in Islamic history, yet a common conclusion has not been reached that everyone accepts. The existence of numerous verses in the Qur'an that directly or indirectly address the concept of fate underscores the importance of understanding the concept in interpreting the Qur'an. Each school of thought has selected verses from the Qur'an that support their own views and has interpreted parts that do not align with their beliefs. Therefore, it was decided to examine the concepts associated with fate within the scope of this study and to determine the research area by selecting meanings that have been of interest to society and adopted by researchers until today. In this study, the lives and works of different translation authors with various ideas and opinions were examined to reveal their differences. Additionally, the concepts of fate, predestination, sealing of hearts, will, compliance, guidance, misguidance, writing, bird omens, and permission, which were addressed within the scope of fate, were explained, and how these concepts were translated by translation authors with different opinions was examined. Attention was drawn to how the verses should be translated along with their justifications by focusing on the reasons for translation differences. The main source of problems encountered in translating the verses lies in the fact that translation authors adhere to literal translation techniques, resulting in the translation being misunderstood or even incomprehensible.
